मवेशी के सामने आने से अनियंत्रित हुई स्कूटी, सड़क किनारे पेड़ और पत्थर से टकराई

गुमला : गुमला जिले के टोटो थाना क्षेत्र में मंगलवार को एक दर्दनाक सड़क हादसे में स्कूटी सवार दंपती की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई। हादसा अंजन धाम पहाड़ी मंदिर के समीप उस समय हुआ, जब दोनों पूजा-अर्चना कर वापस अपने घर लौट रहे थे।

पुलिस के अनुसार, दंपती अंजन धाम मंदिर से दर्शन कर लौट रहे थे। इसी दौरान अचानक एक मवेशी सड़क पर आ गया, जिससे उनकी स्कूटी अनियंत्रित होकर सड़क से नीचे उतर गई और पत्थर एवं पेड़ से जा टकराई। दुर्घटना इतनी भीषण थी कि दोनों की घटनास्थल पर ही मौत हो गई।

घटना की सूचना मिलते ही टोटो थाना प्रभारी कुंदन कुमार पुलिस बल के साथ मौके पर पहुंचे और दोनों शवों को अपने कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए गुमला सदर अस्पताल भेज दिया। गुमला सदर अस्पताल के चिकित्सक डॉ. असीम मिंस ने दोनों की मौत की पुष्टि की।

पुलिस ने मृतकों की पहचान लोहरदगा जिले के सेन्हा थाना क्षेत्र के कुंदगढ़ी गांव निवासी दंपती के रूप में की है। मोबाइल फोन के माध्यम से परिजनों को घटना की सूचना दी गई, जिसके बाद वे गुमला सदर अस्पताल पहुंचे।

प्रारंभिक जानकारी के अनुसार, स्कूटी चालक ने हेलमेट पहन रखा था, लेकिन दुर्घटना में शरीर के विभिन्न हिस्सों में गंभीर अंदरूनी चोट लगने के कारण दोनों की जान नहीं बच सकी।

स्थानीय लोगों का कहना है कि अंजन धाम तक जाने वाला मार्ग पहाड़ी एवं ढलान वाला है। सड़क के किनारे पर्याप्त सुरक्षा रेलिंग नहीं होने के कारण दुर्घटनाओं का खतरा बना रहता है। पूर्व में भी इस मार्ग पर कई हादसे हो चुके हैं।

अंजन धाम को भगवान हनुमान की जन्मस्थली के रूप में मान्यता प्राप्त है। मंगलवार को विशेष पूजा-अर्चना एवं भंडारे के आयोजन के कारण यहां दूर-दूर से बड़ी संख्या में श्रद्धालु पहुंचते हैं, जिससे मार्ग पर भीड़ और यातायात का दबाव बढ़ जाता है।

स्थानीय लोगों ने प्रशासन से मंदिर मार्ग पर सुरक्षा रेलिंग लगाने तथा अन्य आवश्यक सुरक्षा उपाय सुनिश्चित करने की मांग की है, ताकि भविष्य में ऐसी दुखद घटनाओं को रोका जा सके।
