गुमला को मिला ब्लड सेंटर का नया लाइसेंस, अब जिले में रक्त की उपलब्धता होगी सुनिश्चित : उपायुक्त गुमला

गुमला : – गुमला उपायुक्त दिलेश्वर महत्तो की अध्यक्षता में समाहरणालय स्थित सभागार में एक विशेष प्रेस वार्ता का आयोजन किया गया। प्रेस वार्ता में उपायुक्त ने गुमला सदर अस्पताल स्थित ब्लड सेंटर को नवीन अनुज्ञप्ति (लाइसेंस) प्राप्त होने की जानकारी साझा करते हुए इसे जिले की स्वास्थ्य व्यवस्था के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण उपलब्धि बताया।

उपायुक्त ने बताया कि गुमला सदर अस्पताल का ब्लड सेंटर वर्ष 2018 से संचालित था। वर्ष 2022 में लाइसेंस का नवीनीकरण नहीं हो पाने के कारण उसकी अनुज्ञप्ति समाप्त हो गई थी। इसके बावजूद सीमित व्यवस्था के तहत कार्य संचालित हो रहा था। हालांकि 27 नवंबर 2025 को चाईबासा में हुई एक घटना के उपरांत नियमानुसार ब्लड सेंटर का संचालन पूर्णतः बंद कर दिया गया, जिससे जिले में रक्त उपलब्धता की गंभीर समस्या उत्पन्न हो गई।

उन्होंने कहा कि ब्लड सेंटर के बंद होने के बाद जिला प्रशासन एवं स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा नए लाइसेंस के लिए आवेदन किया गया। आवश्यक प्रक्रियाओं में समय लगने के बावजूद लगातार प्रयास किए गए, जिसके परिणामस्वरूप लगभग छह से सात माह के पश्चात गुमला जिले को ब्लड सेंटर की नई अनुज्ञप्ति प्राप्त हो गई है।

उपायुक्त ने कहा कि इस अवधि में विशेष रूप से सिकल सेल एनीमिया एवं थैलेसीमिया से पीड़ित लगभग 250 मरीजों को काफी कठिनाइयों का सामना करना पड़ा। इन मरीजों को नियमित अंतराल पर रक्त की आवश्यकता होती है, लेकिन स्थानीय स्तर पर पर्याप्त व्यवस्था उपलब्ध नहीं होने के कारण कई बार उन्हें आवश्यक रक्त समय पर उपलब्ध नहीं हो पाता था।

उन्होंने बताया कि पूर्व में जिले में रक्त संग्रहण के बाद उसे रिम्स भेजा जाता था तथा आवश्यकता पड़ने पर वहीं से रक्त उपलब्ध कराया जाता था। इस प्रक्रिया में संग्रहित रक्त की तुलना में कम मात्रा में रक्त वापस प्राप्त होने के कारण जिले की मांग पूरी करना कठिन हो जाता था। अब नए लाइसेंस मिलने के बाद जिले में संग्रहित रक्त का स्थानीय स्तर पर ही सुरक्षित भंडारण एवं वितरण किया जाएगा, जिससे रक्त उपलब्धता की समस्या का स्थायी समाधान सुनिश्चित होगा।

उपायुक्त ने सिविल सर्जन गुमला से अब नियमित ब्लड डोनेशन कैंप का आयोजन करने हेतु निर्देश दिया , उन्होंने दिनांक 13 जुलाई को जिला समन्वय समिति की बैठक के दौरान समाहरणालय भवन में भी रक्तदान शिविर का आयोजन करने हेतु निर्देश दिया। उपायुक्त ने प्रखंड / अंचल सहित बड़े स्तर पर अब रक्तदान शिविर का आयोजन करते हुए रक्त संग्रहण की प्रक्रिया में तेजी लाने की बात कही।

प्रेस वार्ता को संबोधित करते हुए सिविल सर्जन डॉ. शंभूनाथ चौधरी ने कहा कि गुमला जिला पुनः रक्त उपलब्धता के मामले में आत्मनिर्भर बनने की दिशा में अग्रसर है। उन्होंने विश्वास व्यक्त किया कि जिले में पर्याप्त संख्या में नियमित रक्तदाता उपलब्ध हैं तथा अब रक्त की आवश्यकता के लिए बाहर के संस्थानों पर निर्भर नहीं रहना पड़ेगा। उन्होंने सभी नागरिकों से स्वैच्छिक रक्तदान के लिए आगे आने की भी अपील की।

इस अवसर पर सदर अस्पताल के उपाधीक्षक डॉ. अनुपम किशोर सहित जिले के विभिन्न प्रिंट एवं इलेक्ट्रॉनिक मीडिया के प्रतिनिधि , उपस्थित थे।
