गुमला : गुमला जिला प्रशासन, के सहयोग और एसयूडी लाइफ इंश्योरेंस कंपनी के सीएसआर मद से आकांक्षी प्रखंड डुमरी में विकास योजनाओं को धरातल पर उतारा गया है। इस संयुक्त पहल के तहत खेतली पंचायत के लवाबार ग्राम में वॉटर लिफ्टिंग पाइपलाइन सिंचाई योजना का विधिवत शिलान्यास किया गया। इसके अतिरिक्त, ग्रामीण बच्चों को बेहतर शैक्षणिक माहौल देने के उद्देश्य से सिरमी और आदिम जनजाति बहुल ओखरगढ़ा ग्राम में जीर्णोद्धारित एवं नव निर्मित विद्यालय भवनों को शिक्षा विभाग को हस्तांतरित किया गया। साथ ही पर्यावरण संरक्षण का संदेश देते हुए विद्यालय परिसरों में पौधारोपण भी किया गया।
लवाबार में शुरू हो रही वॉटर लिफ्टिंग योजना से क्षेत्र के लगभग छह गांवों के किसानों को सालभर सिंचाई की सुविधा मिलेगी, जिससे वे बहु-फसली खेती कर अपनी आजीविका मजबूत कर सकेंगे। वहीं दूसरी ओर, शिक्षा के स्तर में सुधार के लिए नए व जीर्णोद्धारित विद्यालय भवनों के साथ-साथ औरापाट गाँव में डिजिटल बोर्ड्स के माध्यम से डिजिटल स्कूल की स्थापना की गई है, जिससे सुदूरवर्ती बच्चों को आधुनिक व गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षा मिल सकेगी। एसयूडी लाइफ फाउंडेशन ने ग्रामीणों के सहयोग से आगामी पांच वर्षों तक डुमरी प्रखंड में शिक्षा, कृषि, आजीविका और सामुदायिक विकास के कार्यों को लगातार जारी रखने की प्रतिबद्धता जताई है।
जिला प्रशासन इस सीएसआर पहल की सराहना और सुदूर ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों के विकास में एक अच्छी पहल है । प्रशासन कॉर्पोरेट सामाजिक उत्तरदायित्व के माध्यम से अंतिम व्यक्ति तक विकास योजनाओं का लाभ पहुंचाने के लिए पूरी तरह प्रतिबद्ध है।
