रांची में आयकर विभाग की बड़ी कार्रवाई: पनास रियल्टर्स और दयानंद मोदी ग्रुप के कई ठिकानों पर एक साथ छापेमारी

मोदी हाइट्स स्थित कार्यालय सहित कई परिसरों पर सर्च ऑपरेशन जारी, दस्तावेज और डिजिटल रिकॉर्ड की गहन जांच

रांची: राजधानी रांची में गुरुवार को आयकर विभाग (Income Tax Department) ने कथित कर अनियमितताओं की जांच के तहत रियल एस्टेट क्षेत्र की प्रमुख कंपनियों पनास रियल्टर्स और दयानंद मोदी ग्रुप से जुड़े कई ठिकानों पर एक साथ सर्च अभियान चलाया। इस कार्रवाई से शहर के रियल एस्टेट कारोबार में हलचल मच गई।

आयकर विभाग की टीम ने रातू रोड स्थित मोदी हाइट्स में पनास रियल्टर्स के मुख्य कार्यालय सहित समूह से जुड़े विभिन्न परिसरों पर तलाशी शुरू की। अधिकारियों ने कार्यालय में मौजूद वित्तीय दस्तावेजों, लेखा-बही, कंप्यूटर, हार्ड डिस्क और अन्य डिजिटल उपकरणों की जांच की। साथ ही कंपनी के निदेशकों और साझेदारों से जुड़े कुछ आवासीय परिसरों पर भी तलाशी अभियान जारी है।

सूत्रों के अनुसार, विभाग को कर संबंधी संभावित अनियमितताओं और आय के कथित कम खुलासे से संबंधित इनपुट प्राप्त हुए थे। इन्हीं सूचनाओं के आधार पर यह समन्वित कार्रवाई की गई है। हालांकि, आयकर विभाग की ओर से अब तक आधिकारिक रूप से किसी प्रकार की कर चोरी या अघोषित संपत्ति की पुष्टि नहीं की गई है।

बताया जा रहा है कि पनास रियल्टर्स रांची में कई आवासीय और व्यावसायिक परियोजनाओं का संचालन कर रही है। फिलहाल आयकर विभाग की टीम दस्तावेजों और डिजिटल रिकॉर्ड की विस्तृत जांच में जुटी हुई है।

सर्च अभियान पूरा होने और जांच प्रक्रिया समाप्त होने के बाद ही यह स्पष्ट हो सकेगा कि विभाग को किसी प्रकार की अघोषित आय, संपत्ति या कर अनियमितता के संबंध में क्या तथ्य प्राप्त हुए हैं। फिलहाल आयकर विभाग की कार्रवाई जारी है।
