जलावन के बीच छिपी थी मौत! सांप के डंसने से 25 वर्षीय महिला की गई जान

गोमिया__ बरसात के मौसम में घर के आसपास रखे जलावन और सामान को बिना जांचे उठाना कितना खतरनाक हो सकता है, इसका दर्दनाक उदाहरण गोमिया प्रखंड के तुलबुल पंचायत अंतर्गत बंदरदौरीया टोला में सामने आया। यहां जलावन लेने गई 25 वर्षीय महिला को जहरीले सांप ने डस लिया। इलाज के लिए अस्पताल ले जाने के बाद चिकित्सकों ने उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया।
मृतका की पहचान हरी प्रजापति की पुत्री सुमन कुमारी (25 वर्ष) के रूप में हुई है। घटना के बाद परिवार में चीख-पुकार मच गई और गांव में शोक की लहर दौड़ गई।
बताया गया कि शनिवार शाम सुमन घर में खाना बनाने की तैयारी कर रही थी। चूल्हा जलाने के लिए वह जलावन लेने गई थी। जैसे ही उसने जलावन के बीच हाथ लगाया, वहां छिपे सांप ने उसे डस लिया। घटना के बाद उसकी हालत बिगड़ने लगी। परिजन बिना देर किए उसे गोमिया सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र लेकर पहुंचे, लेकिन चिकित्सकों ने जांच के बाद उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया।
महिला की मौत की खबर मिलते ही अस्पताल में परिजनों और ग्रामीणों की भीड़ जुट गई। परिजनों का रो-रोकर बुरा हाल था। घटना की सूचना गोमिया के बीडीओ एवं अंचल अधिकारी को भी दी गई।
इधर, सूचना मिलने के बाद गोमिया थाना पुलिस अस्पताल पहुंची और शव को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिया। पुलिस ने घटना की जानकारी जुटाते हुए आवश्यक कार्रवाई शुरू कर दी है।
बरसात में बढ़ जाता है सर्पदंश का खतरा
गोमिया थाना प्रभारी प्रफुल्ल महतो ने ग्रामीणों से अपील की कि बरसात के दिनों में विशेष सतर्कता बरतें। सांप अक्सर सूखी लकड़ी, जलावन, झाड़ियों, पुराने सामान और घर के आसपास छिप जाते हैं। इसलिए जलावन या किसी भी ऐसे सामान को उठाने से पहले अच्छी तरह जांच कर लें।
उन्होंने कहा कि सांप के काटने की स्थिति में घबराने या झाड़-फूंक के चक्कर में समय गंवाने के बजाय तत्काल अस्पताल पहुंचना चाहिए। समय पर चिकित्सकीय उपचार मिलने से कई मामलों में जान बचाई जा सकती है।
