सऊदी अरब में 9 दिनों से पड़ा है प्रवासी श्रमिक का शव, परिजनों ने सरकार से लगाई गुहार

Gomia—-बगोदर थाना क्षेत्र के मुंडरो गांव के प्रवासी श्रमिक द्वारिका महतो का शव पिछले नौ दिनों से सऊदी अरब में पड़ा हुआ है। उनकी मौत के बाद अब तक न तो शव भारत लाया जा सका है और न ही कंपनी की ओर से मुआवजा को लेकर कोई स्पष्ट जानकारी दी गई है। इससे परिजनों की चिंता लगातार बढ़ती जा रही है।
जानकारी के अनुसार, द्वारिका महतो मूल रूप से डुमरी थाना क्षेत्र के चीनो समदा गांव निवासी स्वर्गीय दशरथ महतो के पुत्र थे। पिछले करीब 25 वर्षों से वे अपने ससुराल मुंडरो में घरजमाई के रूप में रह रहे थे। परिवार की आर्थिक स्थिति कमजोर होने के कारण वे जनवरी 2005 में रोजगार के लिए सऊदी अरब गए थे, जहां वे केईसी कंपनी में कार्यरत थे।
बताया गया कि 20 जून 2026 को काम के दौरान उनकी मौत हो गई। उनके निधन के बाद पत्नी धने श्वरी देवी, पुत्र सचिन कुमार, सतीश कुमार, नीतीश कुमार तथा ससुर लालधारी महतो सहित पूरा परिवार गहरे सदमे में है। परिजन पिछले नौ दिनों से उनके शव के भारत आने की प्रतीक्षा कर रहे हैं ताकि अंतिम दर्शन के बाद अंतिम संस्कार किया जा सके।
प्रवासी श्रमिकों के हितों के लिए कार्य करने वाले सिकंदर अली लगातार कंपनी और संबंधित अधिकारियों के संपर्क में हैं। उन्होंने कंपनी से उचित मुआवजा देने और शव को शीघ्र भारत भेजने की मांग की है।
मृतक की पत्नी धनेश्वरी देवी ने बताया कि पति की मौत के नौ दिन बीत जाने के बावजूद अब तक शव भारत नहीं पहुंचा है। कंपनी की ओर से मुआवजे के संबंध में भी कोई संतोषजनक जवाब नहीं मिला है। उन्होंने केंद्र और राज्य सरकार से हस्तक्षेप कर जल्द शव स्वदेश मंगाने और परिवार को आवश्यक सहायता उपलब्ध कराने की अपील की है।
