गोमिया – विशेष गहन पुनरीक्षण (एसआईआर-2026) अभियान के तहत गोमिया प्रखंड में मतदाता सूची के शुद्धिकरण एवं अद्यतन कार्य को लेकर जिला प्रशासन लगातार सक्रिय है। अभियान की प्रगति का जायजा लेने के लिए हाल ही में बोकारो के उपायुक्त सह जिला दंडाधिकारी अजय नाथ झा ने सुदूरवर्ती बिरहोर टोला का दौरा कर मतदाता पुनरीक्षण अभियान का निरीक्षण किया। उन्होंने अधिकारियों एवं बीएलओ से बातचीत कर अभियान की प्रगति की जानकारी ली और प्रत्येक पात्र नागरिक का नाम मतदाता सूची में शामिल कराने का निर्देश दिया।
उपायुक्त ने कहा कि लोकतंत्र की मजबूती के लिए शत-प्रतिशत पात्र मतदाताओं का पंजीकरण आवश्यक है। उन्होंने बीएलओ एवं सुपरवाइजरों को घर-घर जाकर पूरी पारदर्शिता और जिम्मेदारी के साथ कार्य करने तथा किसी भी पात्र मतदाता को सूची से वंचित नहीं रहने देने का निर्देश दिया।
इसी अभियान में उत्कृष्ट कार्य करने पर मतदान केंद्र संख्या-105 की बीएलओ संगीता देवी एवं बीएलओ सुपरवाइजर हेमंत पाल को उपायुक्त अजय नाथ झा ने शॉल ओढ़ाकर सम्मानित किया। उपायुक्त ने दोनों के समर्पण, मेहनत और जिम्मेदार कार्यशैली की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि ऐसे कर्मियों का सम्मान अन्य कर्मचारियों के लिए भी प्रेरणा का स्रोत है।
उन्होंने कहा कि एसआईआर-2026 अभियान का उद्देश्य मतदाता सूची को त्रुटिरहित, अद्यतन एवं शुद्ध बनाना है, जिसमें बीएलओ और सुपरवाइजर की भूमिका सबसे महत्वपूर्ण है। अभियान को सफल बनाने के लिए सभी कर्मियों को पूरी निष्ठा से कार्य करने की आवश्यकता है।
इस अवसर पर अपर समाहर्ता, गोमिया के प्रखंड विकास पदाधिकारी महादेव कुमार महतो, अंचल अधिकारी आफताब आलम सहित अन्य प्रशासनिक अधिकारी उपस्थित थे।
