अवैध कोयला कारोबार पर सीआईएसएफ का शिकंजा, 19.170 टन कोयला समेत दो ऑटो व दो बाइक जब्त

गोमिया–तस्करी के खिलाफ चलाए जा रहे अभियान के तहत सीआईएसएफ ने बड़ी कार्रवाई करते हुए कुल 19.170 टन अवैध कोयला, दो ऑटो और दो मोटरसाइकिल जब्त की हैं। यह कार्रवाई सीसीएल करगली के कमांडेंट राजप्रताप सिंह के नेतृत्व में देर रात चलाए गए विशेष अभियान के दौरान की गई।
जानकारी के अनुसार, ढोरी एरिया में अवैध कोयला परिवहन की सूचना मिलने पर सीआईएसएफ की टीम ने अमलो चेक पोस्ट और दीनदयाल चेक पोस्ट के बीच छापेमारी की। इस दौरान करीब 3.200 टन अवैध कोयला ले जा रहे दो ऑटो और दो मोटरसाइकिल को जब्त किया गया। जांच में पाया गया कि वाहनों पर न तो पंजीकरण संख्या अंकित थी और न ही चेसिस नंबर उपलब्ध था।
इसी अभियान के तहत फुसरो बाजार स्थित रानीबाग क्षेत्र में सीआईएसएफ, सीसीएल सुरक्षा विभाग और बेरमो पुलिस की संयुक्त टीम ने छापेमारी कर 15.970 टन अवैध रूप से भंडारित कोयला बरामद किया। मौके से कोयले के भंडारण अथवा परिवहन से संबंधित कोई वैध चालान या ई-ट्रांजिट दस्तावेज नहीं मिले और न ही किसी व्यक्ति ने जब्त कोयले या वाहनों पर अपना दावा किया।
अधिकारियों ने बताया कि अवैध कोयला भंडारण एवं परिवहन से सरकारी राजस्व को नुकसान पहुंचाया जा रहा था, जो खान एवं खनिज (विकास एवं विनियमन) अधिनियम, 1957 की धारा 21 का उल्लंघन है। सीसीएल प्रबंधन से संपत्ति प्रमाण पत्र प्राप्त होने के बाद जब्त वाहनों और कोयले को आगे की कानूनी कार्रवाई के लिए बेरमो पुलिस को सौंप दिया गया, जबकि रानीबाग से बरामद कोयला सीसीएल प्रबंधन के हवाले कर दिया गया।
अभियान में उप कमांडेंट गारा अभिलाष, निरीक्षक एस.आर. नायक, उप निरीक्षक संतोष कुमार तिवारी, अमित कुमार, हरेश कुमार सिंह, बेरमो पुलिस, सीआईएसएफ की क्यूआरटी तथा स्ट्राइकिंग टीम के जवान शामिल रहे। सीआईएसएफ ने कहा कि ‘जीरो कोल लीकेज’ अभियान के तहत अवैध कोयला कारोबार के विरुद्ध ऐसी कार्रवाई आगे भी लगातार जारी रहेगी।
