पति ने पत्नी की निर्मम हत्या के बाद थाने में किया आत्मसमर्पण: गुमला में दिल दहला देने वाली घटना

गुमला जिले के पालकोट थाना क्षेत्र में एक हैरान कर देने वाली घटना सामने आई, जहां फूलचंद केरकेट्टा नामक व्यक्ति ने अपनी पत्नी खलेसिया केरकेट्टा की टांगी से हत्या कर दी। हत्या के बाद वह 30 किलोमीटर पैदल चलकर थाने पहुंचा और खुद को पुलिस के हवाले कर दिया।

घरेलू विवाद बना हत्या का कारण

इस दर्दनाक घटना का कारण घरेलू विवाद बताया जा रहा है। मृतिका के पुत्र ने पुलिस को जानकारी दी कि उसके माता-पिता पोजेंगा बाजार से लौटने के बाद शराब के नशे में थे। रात में खलेसिया पड़ोस की दो महिलाओं के साथ शराब पी रही थी। इस दौरान पति-पत्नी के बीच विवाद हुआ, जो इतना बढ़ गया कि फूलचंद ने गुस्से में आकर घर में रखी टांगी से खलेसिया पर लगातार वार किए।

• घटना के समय पड़ोस की दोनों महिलाएं वहां मौजूद थीं, लेकिन हत्या होते देख वे भाग गईं।
• वारदात के बाद फूलचंद घर से निकलकर सीधे थाने पहुंचा।

पुलिस की त्वरित कार्रवाई

घटना की सूचना मिलते ही एसडीपीओ नजीर अख्तर और पालकोट थाना प्रभारी मो. जहांगीर अपनी टीम के साथ घटनास्थल पर पहुंचे।

• पुलिस ने मृतिका के शव को गुमला सदर अस्पताल स्थित पोस्टमार्टम हाउस भेजा।
• पोस्टमार्टम के बाद शव परिजनों को सौंप दिया गया।

हत्या में प्रयोग किया गया टांगी भी पुलिस ने बरामद कर लिया है।

गहराई से की जा रही पूछताछ

गुमला पुलिस अधीक्षक शंभू कुमार सिंह के निर्देश पर आरोपी फूलचंद से पूछताछ जारी है। पुलिस ने घरेलू विवाद और शराब के नशे को हत्या का मुख्य कारण माना है।

• घटना के वक्त का सटीक विवरण जुटाने के लिए पुलिस मृतिका के पुत्र और अन्य गवाहों से भी जानकारी ले रही है।
