नागरिक उड्डयन मंत्रालय ने संसद में बताया कि इन चारों एयरपोर्ट पर निर्माण और विकास कार्य तेजी से आगे बढ़ रहा है और इन्हें चरणबद्ध तरीके से जल्द ही चालू किया जाएगा। सरकार का उद्देश्य दूर-दराज के क्षेत्रों को प्रमुख शहरों से जोड़ना और आम लोगों के लिए हवाई यात्रा को सुलभ बनाना है।

स्थानीय कारोबारियों का कहना है कि हवाई संपर्क बेहतर होने से व्यापारिक लेन-देन में तेजी आएगी और रोजगार के नए अवसर भी पैदा होंगे। इसके अलावा, मेडिकल, शिक्षा और आपातकालीन सेवाओं के लिए भी यह सुविधा अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण साबित होगी।
