गुमला – गुमला जिला में दिनांक 19.12.2024 को अपराह्न 4:00 बजे घाघरा थाना अंतर्गत मौजा गम्हरिया में अंचल अधिकारी, घाघरा, पुलिस अवर निरीक्षक, घाघरा, एवं जिला खनन पदाधिकारी के संयुक्त नेतृत्व में निरीक्षण एवं औचक छापामारी की गई। इस छापामारी के दौरान मौजा गम्हरिया में लगभग 600 घनफीट अवैध रूप से भण्डारित बालू पाया गया, उक्त बालू का भण्डारण एवं व्यापार बिना किसी वैध अनुज्ञप्ति के किया जा रहा था, जो पूरी तरह अवैध है।
अवैध खनिज उत्खनन और भण्डारण के कारण न केवल सरकारी राजस्व की हानि हो रही है, बल्कि राष्ट्रीय संपत्ति का भी क्षरण हो रहा है। उल्लेखनीय है कि खान एवं खनिज (विकास एवं विनियमन) अधिनियम, 1957, झारखंड लघु खनिज नियमावली, 2004 के नियम 4 एवं 54, तथा The Jharkhand Minerals (Prevention of Illegal Mining, Transportation and Storage) Rules, 2017 के नियम 7 एवं 9 के तहत बिना पट्टा या अनुज्ञप्ति के खनिज का उत्खनन, परिवहन या भण्डारण करना दंडनीय अपराध है।
इस अवैध कार्य में संलिप्त व्यक्तियों के विरुद्ध उपर्युक्त प्रावधानों के तहत प्राथमिकी दर्ज कर विधिसम्मत कार्रवाई की जा रही है। जिला प्रशासन सभी नागरिकों से अपील करता है कि वे अवैध खनन एवं भण्डारण की सूचना प्रशासन को उपलब्ध कराएं और राष्ट्रीय संपत्ति के संरक्षण में अपना योगदान दें।
