साइबर ठगी के शिकार 55 वर्षीय वृद्ध ने की आत्महत्या, पुलिस जांच में जुटी

गुमला, 4 फरवरी 2025: गुमला जिले के डुमरडीह पंचायत के अरमई गांव में 55 वर्षीय मोहरा उरांव (पिता – स्व. मंगरा उरांव) ने साइबर ठगी का शिकार होने के बाद फांसी लगाकर आत्महत्या कर ली। घटना की जानकारी मिलते ही गुमला पुलिस कप्तान शंभू कुमार सिंह ने सदर थाना प्रभारी को मामले की जांच और आवश्यक कार्रवाई के निर्देश दिए।

बैंक खाते से निकाले गए थे पैसे

मृतक के परिजनों ने बताया कि सेंट्रल बैंक गुमला में उनके खाते से फरवरी माह में अलग-अलग तिथियों पर अज्ञात साइबर ठगों ने अवैध रूप से पैसे निकाल लिए थे। इस धोखाधड़ी से मानसिक रूप से आहत मोहरा उरांव ने गांव के एक आम के पेड़ पर रस्सी का फंदा लगाकर अपनी जान दे दी।

मृतक ने छोड़ा था लिखित सुसाइड नोट

परिजनों ने पुलिस को एक लिखित पर्ची भी सौंपी, जिसमें मोहरा उरांव ने साइबर ठगी का शिकार होने की बात लिखी थी। पुलिस ने सुसाइड नोट को जांच में शामिल कर लिया है और बैंक से अवैध निकासी की पुष्टि करने के लिए सत्यापन प्रक्रिया शुरू कर दी है।

पुलिस ने शुरू की जांच, बैंक रिकॉर्ड खंगाले जा रहे

गुमला सदर थाना प्रभारी ने घटनास्थल पर पहुंचकर परिजनों और ग्रामीणों से पूछताछ की। पुलिस ने मामला दर्ज कर साइबर ठगों की पहचान और अन्य संभावित आरोपियों की तलाश शुरू कर दी है। इसके अलावा, बैंक से संपर्क कर यह पता लगाने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है कि रकम किस खाते में ट्रांसफर हुई और किन परिस्थितियों में निकाली गई।

पोस्टमार्टम के बाद परिजनों को सौंपा गया शव

पुलिस ने शव को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए गुमला सदर अस्पताल भेजा। आवश्यक औपचारिकताओं के बाद शव को परिजनों को सौंप दिया गया। पुलिस ने कहा है कि घटना से जुड़े हर पहलू की गहराई से जांच की जाएगी, ताकि दोषियों को जल्द से जल्द गिरफ्तार किया जा सके।
