रांची पुलिस ने गुमला सदर थाना के सहयोग से एक अंतरराज्यीय बाइक चोरी गिरोह का पर्दाफाश किया है। इस कार्रवाई में नौ आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार किया गया है, जबकि सात महंगी मोटरसाइकिलें, जिनमें तीन रॉयल एनफील्ड शामिल हैं, बरामद की गई हैं। यह गिरोह झारखंड की राजधानी रांची से महंगी बाइकों की चोरी कर उन्हें ग्रामीण इलाकों में औने-पौने दामों में बेचता था।
पुलिस की कार्रवाई: छापेमारी में नौ गिरफ्तार, सात बाइक बरामद
रांची के लालपुर थाना पुलिस ने गुरुवार को गुमला पहुंचकर स्थानीय पुलिस के सहयोग से कासिरा गांव में छापेमारी की। इस दौरान करमचंद साहू और चेटर गांव से एक अन्य युवक को गिरफ्तार किया गया। पूछताछ के आधार पर शुक्रवार को पुलिस ने पुनः कार्रवाई करते हुए डूमरडीह गांव से चार और अन्य इलाकों से तीन और संदिग्धों को पकड़ा। इनके निशानदेही पर तीन रॉयल एनफील्ड बुलेट और चार अन्य महंगी मोटरसाइकिलें बरामद की गईं।
गिरफ्तार किए गए आरोपियों में देवगन गोप (कलिंगा), राम सिंह, बृजेश सिंह, रोहित दास (समसेरा), घूरन प्रधान, निकेत साहू (कासिरा) और पहले से गिरफ्तार विष्णु कुमार (रातू, रांची) शामिल हैं। पुलिस का कहना है कि यह गिरोह बाइक चोरी कर आरटीओ विभाग की मिलीभगत से फर्जी दस्तावेज तैयार करता था और फिर इन बाइकों को 20,000 से 30,000 रुपये तक में बेच दिया जाता था।
राजधानी से होती थी चोरी, ग्रामीण इलाकों में होती थी बिक्री
पुलिस के अनुसार, यह गिरोह झारखंड की राजधानी रांची से महंगी बाइक चोरी कर उन्हें गुमला और आसपास के ग्रामीण इलाकों में सस्ते दामों में बेचता था। चोरी की गई गाड़ियों का अवैध दस्तावेज तैयार करने में कुछ दलालों की भूमिका भी संदिग्ध बताई जा रही है। फिलहाल, पुलिस पूरे नेटवर्क की गहन जांच कर रही है और संभावना है कि आने वाले दिनों में इस मामले में और गिरफ्तारियां हो सकती हैं।
गिरफ्तार आरोपियों को रांची के लालपुर थाना ले जाया गया है, जहां उनसे आगे की पूछताछ जारी है। पुलिस इस मामले में शामिल अन्य आरोपियों और खरीदारों की पहचान करने में जुटी है।
