गुमला : – गुमला जिला मुख्यालय में आगामी नगर निकाय चुनाव के मद्देनज़र जिला निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी सह उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित एवं पुलिस अधीक्षक गुमला हारिश बिन ज़मां द्वारा संयुक्त रूप से आज के.ओ. कॉलेज, गुमला स्थित मतगणना केंद्र का निरीक्षण किया गया। इस दौरान डिस्पैच सेंटर, रिसीविंग सेंटर एवं स्ट्रांग रूम का भी बारीकी से जायजा लिया गया।
निरीक्षण के क्रम में उपायुक्त ने केंद्रों की भौतिक व्यवस्था, विद्युत, पेयजल, साफ-सफाई, आवागमन, सीसीटीवी निगरानी, अग्निशमन व्यवस्था तथा विधि-व्यवस्था व सुरक्षा प्रबंधों का अवलोकन किया। उन्होंने संबंधित पदाधिकारियों को निर्देश दिया कि निर्वाचन से जुड़ी सभी व्यवस्थाएं समयबद्ध, पारदर्शी एवं निर्वाचन आयोग के दिशा-निर्देशों के अनुरूप सुनिश्चित की जाएं।
इसके पश्चात उपायुक्त द्वारा पुराने एनआईसी भवन में सुरक्षित रखी गई मत पेटिकाओं का भी निरीक्षण किया गया। मत पेटिकाओं की स्थिति, सुरक्षा एवं अभिलेख संधारण की समीक्षा करते हुए आवश्यक निर्देश दिए गए।
उपायुक्त ने निर्देश दिया कि मतदान, मतगणना एवं सामग्री के आवागमन से संबंधित सभी कार्य शांतिपूर्ण एवं निर्बाध रूप से संपन्न कराना प्रशासन की सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता है। इसके लिए सभी संबंधित पदाधिकारी आपसी समन्वय के साथ कार्य करें तथा किसी भी स्तर पर लापरवाही न बरती जाए।
निरीक्षण के दौरान अपर समाहर्ता गुमला शशिंद्र कुमार बड़ाइक, अनुमंडल पदाधिकारी गुमला राजीव नीरज, जिला पंचायती राज पदाधिकारी राजीव कुमार,सहित सम्बंधित वरीय पदाधिकारी एवं निर्वाचन कार्य से जुड़े अधिकारी एवं कर्मी उपस्थित रहें l
