गुमला जिले में एमडीए अभियान के तहत शेष लाभार्थियों तक पहुंचने के लिए विशेष मॉप-अप अभियान जारी

गुमला : – गुमला जिले में फाइलेरिया उन्मूलन के उद्देश्य से चल रहे Mass Drug Administration (MDA) अभियान के अंतर्गत अब तक जिले में 92.95% लोगों को दवा खिलाई जा चुकी है। शेष छूटे हुए लाभार्थियों तक पहुंच सुनिश्चित करने के लिए उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित के निर्देश पर जिला प्रशासन के नेतृत्व में स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा विशेष मॉप-अप गतिविधियां संचालित की जा रही हैं।

इस क्रम में टीमों द्वारा हाई प्रायरिटी विलेज, रिफ्यूजल पॉकेट तथा ऐसे समुदायों पर विशेष ध्यान दिया जा रहा है, जहां पर्व-त्योहार या अन्य कारणों से कुछ लोगों द्वारा अब तक दवा का सेवन नहीं किया गया है। इन क्षेत्रों में स्वास्थ्य कर्मियों के माध्यम से घर-घर जाकर लोगों को जागरूक करते हुए दवा खिलाने का कार्य किया जा रहा है।

विशेष रूप से ऐसे गांव जहां पूर्व में फाइलेरिया के मरीज पाए गए हैं, वहां अतिरिक्त सतर्कता बरतते हुए टीमों द्वारा पुनः भ्रमण कर छूटे हुए लाभार्थियों को दवा खिलाने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है, ताकि संक्रमण की श्रृंखला को प्रभावी रूप से रोका जा सके।

इस अभियान के सफल क्रियान्वयन में सहयोगी संस्थाओं का भी महत्वपूर्ण योगदान मिल रहा है। पीरामल फाउंडेशन टीम द्वारा समुदाय स्तर पर जागरूकता, समन्वय एवं दवा सेवन सुनिश्चित कराने में सक्रिय सहयोग दिया जा रहा है।

राज्य द्वारा निर्धारित समयसीमा के भीतर जिले में 100% कवरेज सुनिश्चित करने के लिए सभी संबंधित विभाग एवं टीमें पूरी तरह प्रतिबद्ध हैं। इसके लिए लगातार मॉनिटरिंग, फील्ड विजिट और सामुदायिक संवाद के माध्यम से अभियान को गति दी जा रही है।

जिला प्रशासन ने जिले के सभी नागरिकों से अपील की है कि फाइलेरिया जैसी गंभीर बीमारी से बचाव के लिए एमडीए के तहत दी जा रही दवा का सेवन अवश्य करें और अभियान को सफल बनाने में सहयोग दें।
