गुमला : – गुमला महिला उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित के निर्देश के आलोक में जल जीवन मिशन के अंतर्गत अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस के अवसर पर शनिवार को सूचना भवन सभागार, गुमला में जल महोत्सव पखवाड़ा का जिला स्तरीय शुभारंभ किया गया। कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत दीप प्रज्वलन के साथ की गई।
कार्यक्रम के दौरान पेयजल एवं स्वच्छता प्रमंडल, गुमला के कार्यपालक अभियंता अनुज कुमार मिश्रा ने उपस्थित महिलाओं का स्वागत करते हुए जल महोत्सव पखवाड़ा के दौरान आयोजित की जाने वाली विभिन्न गतिविधियों की विस्तृत जानकारी दी। उन्होंने कहा कि जल संरक्षण, पेयजल की गुणवत्ता एवं उसके सतत प्रबंधन में महिलाओं की भूमिका अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण है।
इस अवसर पर जिला समन्वयक एवं कनीय अभियंता द्वारा झारखंड राज्य पेयजलापूर्ति संचालन एवं सम्पोषण नीति-2025 के संबंध में विस्तारपूर्वक जानकारी दी गई तथा जल जीवन मिशन के उद्देश्यों और ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में इसके महत्व पर प्रकाश डाला गया।
कार्यक्रम में यह जानकारी दी गई कि गुमला जिले की दो जलसहियाओं को पेयजल एवं स्वच्छता के क्षेत्र में उत्कृष्ट कार्य के लिए आगामी 11 मार्च 2026 को नई दिल्ली के विज्ञान भवन में आयोजित कार्यक्रम में शामिल होने तथा सम्मानित किए जाने हेतु चयनित किया गया है। इस उपलब्धि पर उपस्थित सभी लोगों ने खुशी व्यक्त की।
कार्यक्रम के दौरान पेयजल एवं स्वच्छता के क्षेत्र में सक्रिय योगदान एवं उत्कृष्ट कार्य के लिए 20 से अधिक जलसहियाओं तथा 15 मुखियाओं को प्रशस्ति पत्र प्रदान कर सम्मानित किया गया।
इस अवसर पर विभिन्न प्रखंडों से आई जलसहियाएं, विभिन्न पंचायतों के मुखियागण, स्वयं सहायता समूह की महिलाएं, सहायक अभियंता, कनीय अभियंता, सभी प्रखंड वॉश समन्वयक सहित अन्य संबंधित पदाधिकारी एवं कर्मी उपस्थित रहे।
कार्यक्रम का संचालन जल जीवन मिशन के जिला समन्वयक सूर्यकान्त सुमन द्वारा किया गया।
जल महोत्सव पखवाड़ा के माध्यम से जिले में जल संरक्षण, स्वच्छता एवं सुरक्षित पेयजल के प्रति जनजागरूकता को और सुदृढ़ करने का संकल्प लिया गया।
