गुमला : – गुमला जिला कई रहस्यों को अपने आप में समेटे हुए, हैं क्योंकि गुमला जिला में धार्मिक महत्व – देवी देवताओं के जागृत स्थलों और पर्यटन स्थलों से पूरा जिला भारा पड़ा हैं, जैसे श्री राम भक्त हनुमान के जन्मस्थली अंजन धाम, जहां जगह-जगह पर बिखरे पड़े हैं, शिवलिंग, भगवान परशुराम की तपोभूमि प्राचीन स्थल टांगीनाथ धाम, घागरा प्रखंड मुख्यालय स्थित देवकी धाम गुमला, गुमला जिला मुख्यालय स्थित बुढ़वा महादेव करम टोली गुमला के बुढ़वा महादेव एक पीपल पेड़ को चीरकर निकाले है (बुढ़वा महादेव) , वासुदेव कोना, सिसई प्रखंड केग्राम नगर के शिवलिंग, पालकोट प्रखंड मुख्यालय स्थित दसभुजी मां की मंदिर आदि अन्य अनेक तीर्थ स्थलों से भरा पड़ा है गुमला जिला : – हिंदू पंचांग के अनुसार सावन (श्रावण) वर्ष का पाँचवाँ महीना है, जो मुख्य रूप से भगवान शिव की पूजा, समुद्र मंथन की पौराणिक कथा और मानसून के आगमन से जुड़ा हुआ है। यह अंग्रेजी कैलेंडर के जुलाई और अगस्त के महीनों के बीच आता है।

पौराणिक इतिहास और कथाएं

समुद्र मंथनः पौराणिक मान्यता के अनुसार सावन महीने में ही समुद्र मंथन हुआ था। मंथन से निकले हलाहल विष को भगवान शिव ने सृष्टि की रक्षा के लिए अपने कंठ में धारण किया, जिससे उनका नाम ‘नीलकंठ’ पड़ा। विष के प्रभाव को शांत करने के लिए देवी-देवताओं ने उन पर जल और दूध अर्पित किया, तभी से शिवलिंग पर जल अभिषेक की परंपरा शुरू हुई।

शिव और पार्वती मिलन – ऐसा माना जाता है कि इस पवित्र मास में माता पार्वती ने भगवान शिव को पति के रूप में पाने के लिए कठोर तपस्या की थी, जिससे उनकी मनोकामना पूरी हुई और दोनों का मिलन हुआ।

धार्मिक और सांस्कृतिक महत्व सावन सोमवारः इस पूरे महीने में सोमवार का दिन अत्यंत शुभ माना जाता है, और भक्त भगवान शिव को प्रसन्न करने के लिए विशेष उपवास रखते हैं।

कांवड़ यात्राः इस दौरान भक्त (कांवड़िए) पवित्र नदियों से जल लाकर भगवान शिव के मंदिरों में अर्पित करते हैं।

प्रमुख त्यौहार: हरियाली तीज, नाग पंचमी और रक्षा बंधन जैसे बड़े सांस्कृतिक व पारिवारिक पर्व त्योहार इसी माह में आते हैं।
सावन का पवित्र महीना शुरू हो चुका है, जो 28 अगस्त तक रहेगा. धार्मिक मान्यताओं के अनुसार, यह पूरा महीना भगवान शिव की उपासना और तपस्या के लिए सबसे शुभ माना जाता है। इसी महीने समुद्र मंथन से निकले हलाहल विष का भगवान शिव ने पान किया था. विष की गर्मी शांत करने के लिए देवताओं ने उन्हें जल अर्पित किया था. तभी से सावन में शिवलिंग पर जल चढ़ाने की परंपरा चली आ रही है. हालांकि इस पवित्र महीने में शिवलिंग पर और भी कई दिव्य चीजें चढ़ाई जाती हैं, जिनके प्रयोग से व्यक्ति का भाग्य चमक जाता है.

गुमला जिला अंतर्गत स्थित टांगीनाथ धाम ( झारखंड) , भारत के गुमला जिले के डुमरी ब्लॉक में 300 फुट ऊंची पहाड़ी पर स्थित एक प्राचीन टांगीनाथ धार्मिक और ऐतिहासिक स्थल है, जो अपने जंगरोधी लोहे के त्रिशूल और 7 वीं से 12 वीं शताब्दी तक के खंडहरों के लिए प्रसिद्ध है।
डुमरी प्रखंड , गुमला गुमला जिला मुख्यालय से लगभग 50 किमी और माझगांव के डुमरी प्रखंड मुख्यालय से 8 किमी दूर लगभग 300 फीट ऊंची पहाड़ी पर स्थित है। लगभग 10,000 वर्ग मीटर है। इसमें जमीन में गड़ा हुआ एक उल्लेखनीय प्राचीन धातु का त्रिशूल (कुल्हाड़ी ) (त्रिशूल – परशु ) दिखाया गया है जो सभी मौसम के संपर्क में रहता है लेकिन उसमें जंग या क्षरण के कोई लक्षण नहीं दिखते हैं। भगवान परशुरामः – यह भगवान परशुराम का ध्यान और तपस्या स्थल (तपभूमि) माना जाता है, जहां परंपरागत रूप से कहा जाता है कि उन्होंने अपनी कुल्हाड़ी (टांगी) रखी थी । पुरातत्वीय वस्तुएं और मंदिर: इसमें भगवान विष्णु, सूर्य और लक्ष्मी जैसे देवताओं की प्राचीन पत्थर की मूर्तियों के साथ-साथ सैकड़ों व्यवस्थित शिवलिंग भी शामिल है, भक्तगण अपनी मन्नत मांगने भी आते हैं और मन्नत पूरी होने पर उक्त स्थल पर माथा टेकने और पूजा अर्चना करने आते हैं l
झारखंड के गुमला जिले के रायडीह प्रखंड में स्थित बासुदेवकोना रायडीह प्रखंड मुख्यालय से पूर्व दिशा में स्थित है। विशेषताः यह स्थान प्राचीन धार्मिक पत्थर की मूर्तियों ( जो अजंता गुफाओं की मूर्तियों के समान हैं ) के लिए प्रसिद्ध है। ऐतिहासिक महत्वः – यहाँ का प्राचीन शिव मंदिर बहुत प्रसिद्ध है, जिसे स्थानीय लोग ऐतिहासिक और शाश्वत मानते हैं, यह 1857 के आसपास के स्वतंत्रता सेनानी बख्तर साय की जागीर से भी जुड़ा रहा है। पवित्र सावन मास 30 जुलाई से शुरू हो गया है और 28 अगस्त 2026 को समाप्त होगा। इस दौरान देशभर के शिवालयों में भारी भीड़ उमड़ रही है और कांवड़ यात्रा जोर-शोर से चल रही है। सावन सोमवार तिथियां (Sawan Somwar Dates) पहला सोमवार: 3 अगस्त 2026
