खलारी। खलारी कोयलांचल सहित आस-पास के क्षेत्रों में सोमवार को करमा पर्व धूमधाम व हर्शोल्लास से मनाया गया। करमा पर्व को लेकर बहनों ने अपने भाईयों के दीर्घायु, सुख शांति व उनके सलामती के लिए उपवास रखा। शाम को करम की डाली आंगन में गाड़ी गई। उसके नीचे जौ बुना गया तथा पुरे विधि-विधान से पूजा की गई। वहीं पूजन के बाद व्रतियों ने करमा धरमा की कथा सुनी। क्षेत्र के महावीर नगर, जीटाईप, खलारी बाजारटांड़, धमधमिया बिरसानगर, लपरा, मानकी बस्ती, बरटोला, नया धौड़ा, चानक धौड़ा, चदरा धौड़ा, पीपल धोड़ा, करकट्टा, गुलजारबाग, पीपलधौड़ा आदि जगहों में सरना समितियों द्वारा करमा पूजा का आयोजन किया गया। लोग पूरी रात मांदर की थाप तथा नागपुरी गीतों पर थिरकते व झुमते रहे।
