संतान की दीर्घायु के लिए रखा माताओं ने रखा जीवत्पुत्रिका व्रत का निर्जला उपवास

खलारी। अश्विन मास के कृष्ण पक्ष की अष्टमी तिथि को किया जाने वाला जीवित्पुत्रिका व्रत यानी जितिया व्रत शुक्रवार को खलारी कोयलांचल क्षेत्र में श्रद्धा भाव से माताओं ने रखा। अपने संतान के दीर्घायु के लिए माताओं ने जीवित्पुत्रिका व्रत का निर्जला उपवास रखा। अश्विन कृष्ण अष्टमी को निर्जला उपवास रखने के बाद शाम को माताओं ने जीमूतवाहन सहित शंकर-पावर्ती, कार्तिक तथा गणेश भगवान की पूजा-अर्चना की। पूजा के दौरान व्रती माताओं ने चिल्हो सियारो की कथा भी सुनी। इससे एक दिन पूर्व गुरुवार को माताओं ने नहाय खाय किया। पौराणिक कथा के अनुसार जितिया व्रत संतान की दीर्घायु और सुख समद्धि के लिए रखा जाता है। मान्यता है कि इस व्रत से संतान के ऊपर आने वाला संकट टल जाता है और शास्त्रों के मुताबिक जितिया करने वाली व्रती माताओं के संतान की रक्षा स्वंय भगवान श्रीकृष्ण करते हैं। अष्टमी तिथि के समाप्ति के बाद शनिवार को नवमीं तिथि में विधान से पारण करने के पश्चात धागे से बने पूजित जितिया को गले मे धारण करेंगी। दुसरी ओर क्षेत्र में कही कही माताओं ने नहाया खाय से जितिया पर्व की शुरूआत की। जो कि 7 अक्टुबर को जीवित्पुत्रिका व्रत रखेंगी। इधर जितिया पर्व को लेकर खलारी के हाट में सब्जियों की कीमतें आसमान पर रही। जिउतिया में उपयोगी खास सब्जियों की कीमत ज्यादा थी। वहीं जितिया गुंथवाने व खरीदने के लिए दुकानों में महिलाओं की भीड़ लगी थी।
