17 हाथियों के झुंड ने भरनो के ग्रामीणों में मचाई दहशत

हाथियों का अमलिया गांव में आगमन

गुमला – गुमला जिले के भरनो प्रखंड के अमलिया गांव में 17 हाथियों के झुंड की दस्तक से ग्रामीणों में दहशत फैल गई है। इस झुंड में चार छोटे हाथी भी शामिल हैं, जिन्हें बड़े हाथियों ने घेर रखा है। हाथियों के इस झुंड को देखने के लिए ग्रामीणों की भीड़ उमड़ रही है, हालांकि वन विभाग के कर्मी उन्हें हाथियों से छेड़छाड़ करने से मना कर रहे हैं।

हाथियों के झुंड का आतंक

ये जंगली हाथी लोहरदगा जिले से भरनो के बरंदा गांव होते हुए आए हैं। इस दौरान उन्होंने एक ग्रामीण के घर को नुकसान पहुंचाया। इसके बाद ये खरका गांव पहुंचे, जहां उन्होंने चरण उरांव के घर को भी क्षतिग्रस्त किया। गुरुवार को ये हाथी सिसई प्रखंड के चारदा गांव से लौटकर अमलिया गांव के अरना झरना के झाड़ियों में डेरा जमाए हुए हैं। हाथियों ने अमलिया गांव पहुंचते ही सुकरा उरांव के घर को भी नुकसान पहुंचाया।

वन विभाग की टीम की तैयारी

वन विभाग की हाथी भगाव टीम अमलिया गांव पहुंच चुकी है। टीम ने मशाल और पटाखे लेकर हाथियों को भगाने की तैयारी की है। इस टीम में वनपाल राजेश कुजर, वनरक्षक राकेश मिश्रा, रजत किरण दुंदुंग, परवीन तिर्की, प्रेम साहू, प्रदीप भुनाया, मनीष गोप, प्रकाश लकड़ा, पूना टेटे, सनी सोरेंग, मनोज टेटे, वन समिति के जगजीवन सिंह, विक्रम सिंह और अमरजीत सिंह शामिल हैं।

पुलिस की तैनाती

ग्रामीणों की भीड़ को नियंत्रित करने और हाथियों से छेड़छाड़ न हो, इसके लिए पुलिस इंस्पेक्टर बिनय कुमार और थाना प्रभारी कंचन प्रजापति इलाके में तैनात हैं। प्रशासन की कड़ी निगरानी के बावजूद ग्रामीणों में हाथियों के आतंक का भय बना हुआ है।

ग्रामीणों की सुरक्षा के प्रयास

वन विभाग और पुलिस प्रशासन की संयुक्त टीम हाथियों के झुंड को भगाने और ग्रामीणों की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने के लिए हर संभव प्रयास कर रही है। यह देखते हुए कि जंगली हाथियों ने पहले ही तीन घरों को नुकसान पहुंचाया है, प्रशासन की त्वरित और सख्त कार्रवाई जरूरी है।
