पिछले दिनों हजारीबाग आगमन पर भाजपा नेता प्रदीप प्रसाद ने झारखंड के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री सह वर्तमान भाजपा प्रदेश अध्यक्ष बाबूलाल मरांडी से शिष्टाचार मुलाकात की, मुलाकात के दौरान विभिन्न विषयों पर विस्तार पूर्वक चर्चा हुआ इस क्रम में श्री प्रसाद ने हरियाली महोत्सव को लेकर बाबूलाल मरांडी को विस्तार पूर्वक जानकारी दी उन्होंने बताया कि सदर विधानसभा क्षेत्र के विभिन्न प्रखंडों में पौधारोपण तथा पौधा का वितरण किया जा रहा है, यह कार्यक्रम पिछले 5 जून से निरंतर रूप से चल रहा है इस बीच भारत के यशस्वी प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने भी एक पेड़ मां के नाम लगाने का समस्त देशवासियों से आग्रह किया है जिसको लेकर सभी लोगों में उत्साह और उमंग दिख रहा है। साथ ही प्रदीप प्रसाद ने इस कार्यक्रम में बाबूलाल मरांडी को आमंत्रित किया।
श्री प्रसाद की बातों को सुनने के उपरांत बाबूलाल मरांडी ने हरियाली महोत्सव की प्रशंसा करते हुए कहा कि मैं अवश्य हजारीबाग जाकर आपकी इस कार्यक्रम में शामिल होकर एक पेड़ मां के नाम एवं हरियाली महोत्सव के निमित्त हजारीबाग में पौधारोपण करूंगा, आपकी पूरी टीम को इस कार्य के लिए बहुत-बहुत बधाई एवं अनंत शुभकामनाएं।
मौके पर प्रदीप प्रसाद ने कहा कि हरियाली महोत्सव एवं एक पेड़ मां के नाम कार्यक्रम के दौरान 53 हजार से भी अधिक पौधे का वितरण तथा पौधारोपण किया जा चुका है जिसमें सामाजिक संस्थाओं का विशेष सहयोग और साथ मिला है सदर विधानसभा क्षेत्र के विभिन्न प्रखंडों में निवास करने वाले आम जनता का भरपूर सहयोग और साथ मिल रहा है।
