नई दिल्ली/ रांची : विस्थापितों के लिए ‘भूमि अधिग्रहण और पुनर्वास के मामले में उचित मुआवजा और पारदर्शिता का अधिकार अधिनियम का पूरी तरह और अनिवार्य रूप से पालन कराने की मांग को लेकर कांग्रेस की पूर्व विधायक अंबा प्रसाद और उनके पिता, पूर्व मंत्री योगेंद्र साव ने शुक्रवार को नई दिल्ली में लोकसभा के नेता प्रतिपक्ष राहुल गांधी से मुलाकात की।
मुलाकात के दौरान उन्होंने विस्थापितों को न्याय दिलाने के लिए किए जा रहे प्रयासों पर विस्तार से चर्चा की। दोनों नेताओं ने विशेष रूप से झारखंड में सक्रिय बड़ी खनन कंपनियों जैसे NTPC, अडानी ग्रुप, CCL और BCCL द्वारा स्थानीय लोगों के अधिकारों की अनदेखी के मुद्दे को प्रमुखता से उठाया।
राहुल ने विस्थापितों को लेकर झारखंड आने का आश्वासन दिया
अंबा प्रसाद और योगेंद्र साव ने राहुल गांधी से ‘जन सुनवाई’ या ‘जन सभा’ आयोजित करने का भी आग्रह किया, ताकि विस्थापित परिवारों की फरियादों को सुना जा सके। इसपर राहुल गांधी ने आश्वासन दिया कि वे व्यक्तिगत रूप से इस मामले को देखेंगे और जरूरत पड़ने पर विस्थापितों से मिलने खुद झारखंड आएंगे।
हालांकि उनकी मांगों पर राहुल गांधी ने चिंता जताते हुए कहा कि यह ऐतिहासिक कानून कांग्रेस सरकार की ही देन है। उन्होंने भरोसा दिलाया कि पार्टी इस संघर्ष में विस्थापितों के साथ मजबूती से खड़ी है।
