हाथी ने डुमरी में मचाया उत्पात, मकई की फसल को किया बर्बाद

गुमला: गुमला जिले के डुमरी थाना क्षेत्र स्थित हड़सरी गांव में शनिवार की रात हाथी ने संतबीर यादव के खेत में लगी मकई की फसल को नष्ट कर दिया। पीड़ित किसान संतबीर यादव ने बताया कि रविवार सुबह ग्रामीणों से सूचना मिलने पर जब वे अपने खेत पहुंचे, तो देखा कि हाथी ने उनकी पूरी फसल खा ली और उसे रौंदकर बर्बाद कर दिया।

तैयार फसल हुई बर्बाद

संतबीर यादव के अनुसार, मकई की फसल पूरी तरह तैयार थी और केवल फसल को तोड़ना बाकी था। इस बार अच्छी पैदावार की उम्मीद थी, जिससे अच्छी आमदनी की संभावना थी। करीब दो एकड़ जमीन में लगी मकई की फसल हाथी द्वारा पूरी तरह नष्ट कर दी गई है।

प्रशासन से मुआवजे की मांग

किसान संतबीर यादव ने प्रशासन से अपील की है कि उन्हें इस नुकसान का उचित मुआवजा प्रदान किया जाए, ताकि वह अपने नुकसान की भरपाई कर सकें।

यह घटना ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में हाथियों के बढ़ते आतंक को दर्शाती है, जिससे किसानों को फसल की बर्बादी और आर्थिक नुकसान का सामना करना पड़ रहा है।
