फाइलेरिया उन्मूलन: गुमला में पीरामल फाउंडेशन का जागरूकता अभियान

गुमला – फाइलेरिया उन्मूलन को लेकर गुमला जिले में पीरामल फाउंडेशन द्वारा जागरूकता अभियान चलाया जा रहा है। इस पहल के तहत कार्तिक उरांव कॉलेज, गुमला में छात्रों को फाइलेरिया रोग, उसके बचाव और उपचार के बारे में जानकारी दी गई। यह अभियान 10 फरवरी से 25 फरवरी तक आयोजित होने वाले मास ड्रग एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन (MDA) राउंड को सफल बनाने के उद्देश्य से संचालित किया जा रहा है।

छात्रों की भूमिका पर जोर

कार्यक्रम में छात्रों को फाइलेरिया उन्मूलन में सक्रिय भूमिका निभाने का आग्रह किया गया। उन्हें अपने परिवार और समुदाय के सदस्यों को सर्वजन दवा सेवन कार्यक्रम (MDA) के महत्व को समझाने के लिए प्रेरित किया गया। इसके साथ ही, छात्रों से स्वयं दवा का सेवन करने और दूसरों को भी इस अभियान में भाग लेने के लिए प्रेरित करने की अपील की गई।

फाइलेरिया के प्रति जागरूकता बढ़ाने का प्रयास

अभियान के दौरान, छात्रों को फाइलेरिया रोग के लक्षण, प्रभाव, और इससे बचाव के उपायों की जानकारी दी गई। फाइलेरिया उन्मूलन के लिए दवा सेवन को अनिवार्य बताते हुए, इसे रोग के प्रसार को रोकने का सबसे प्रभावी तरीका बताया गया।

आगामी MDA राउंड का महत्व

पीरामल फाउंडेशन की टीम ने बताया कि 10 फरवरी से शुरू होने वाला MDA राउंड फाइलेरिया उन्मूलन की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम है। यह कार्यक्रम न केवल रोग को नियंत्रित करने बल्कि इसे पूरी तरह समाप्त करने का लक्ष्य रखता है।

सामुदायिक सहयोग की अपील

फाउंडेशन ने समुदाय के सभी वर्गों से इस अभियान में सक्रिय भागीदारी की अपील की है। उन्होंने कहा, “फाइलेरिया जैसी बीमारियों से मुक्ति तभी संभव है, जब लोग जागरूक होकर इसमें सहयोग करें। यह प्रयास सभी के बेहतर स्वास्थ्य और समाज की समृद्धि के लिए आवश्यक है।”
