गुमला में हाथी का कहर जारी, महुआ चुनने गए वृद्ध की दर्दनाक मौत

झारखंड के गुमला जिले में हाथी के हमले से मौतों का सिलसिला थमने का नाम नहीं ले रहा है। रायडीह थाना क्षेत्र के अम्बा कोन जंगल में महुआ बीनने गए 65 वर्षीय वृद्ध फिरना नगेसिया को एक बिगड़ैल हाथी ने बेरहमी से कुचल डाला, जिससे मौके पर ही उनकी मौत हो गई।

जंगल में महुआ बीनते समय हुआ हमला

घटना शनिवार सुबह की बताई जा रही है, जब फिरना नगेसिया महुआ चुनने के लिए जंगल गए थे। इसी दौरान अचानक हाथी ने उन पर हमला कर दिया और अपने दांत, सूंड और पैरों से कुचलकर उन्हें मौत के घाट उतार दिया। स्थानीय ग्रामीणों ने जब शव देखा तो घटना की जानकारी रायडीह थाना प्रभारी कुंदन कुमार सिंह को दी।

पुलिस ने शव को कब्जे में लेकर कराया पोस्टमार्टम

सूचना मिलते ही रायडीह पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और शव को कब्जे में लेकर गुमला सदर अस्पताल भेजा गया, जहां पोस्टमार्टम के बाद शव को परिजनों को सौंप दिया गया।

हाथी के हमलों से दहशत, प्रशासन से कार्रवाई की मांग

गुमला और आसपास के इलाकों में लगातार हो रहे हाथी के हमलों से ग्रामीणों में भय और आक्रोश का माहौल है। स्थानीय लोगों ने वन विभाग और प्रशासन से मांग की है कि जल्द से जल्द इस बिगड़ैल हाथी को नियंत्रित करने के लिए उचित कदम उठाए जाएं, ताकि भविष्य में और जानमाल का नुकसान न हो।
