बरसात में 4 किलोमीटर की यात्रा: गुमला की वृद्ध महिला की पेंशन तक पहुंचने की जद्दोजहद शासन की नाकामी दिखाती

गुमला — आज़ादी के 77 साल बाद भी गुमला जिले के दूरदराज क्षेत्रों में पगडंडी ही सड़क बन बैठी हैं। रायडीह प्रखंड के पहाड़ी गांव सानियां कोना स्थित कदाग गांव की एक वृद्ध महिला को पेंशन लेने चार किलोमीटर दूर बैंक पहुंचना पड़ा—बारिश की आशंका के बावजूद।

वृद्ध महिला के गांव तक सड़क नहीं होने की वजह से, दो ग्रामीणों ने उसे बहंगी (सिकाभार) में बैठाकर पहाड़ी रास्ते पर बैंक तक ले जाना पड़ा। बैंक में अंगूठा लगवाने के बाद पुनः पैदल यात्रा कर उसे गांव वापस लाया गया। यह बिज्ञान-क्षय युग में भी पेंशन के लिए पन्थर की तरह लंबी परेशानियों का दृश्य है।

कौन मौजूद था और कौन नहीं?

— दो ग्रामीण, जिन्होंने महिला को बैलगाड़ी जैसी बहंगी थामा
— स्थानीय बैंक (नाम अस्पष्ट) और उच्च अधिकारियों से कोई मदद नहीं मिली

• स्थानीय स्तर पर बैंक शाखाओं को साप्ताहिक दौरा करना चाहिए
• मोबाइल बैंक सेवा (एम-Bank) और पेंशन उप-केमिस्ट से साक्षरता सुधार
• स्थानीय पंचायत आधारित पेंशन सुविधा या एजेंट व्यवस्था अपनाना जरूरी
