गुमला के सभी आंगनवाड़ी केंद्रों पर एक साथ मनाया गया विश्व स्तनपान सप्ताह, 14,000 से अधिक माताएं हुईं जागरूक

गुमला: विश्व स्तनपान सप्ताह 2025 के अवसर पर गुमला जिला प्रशासन ने स्वास्थ्य जागरूकता की दिशा में एक अभूतपूर्व पहल करते हुए जिले के सभी 1,689 आंगनवाड़ी केंद्रों पर एक साथ स्तनपान जागरूकता कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया। इस विशेष अभियान की अगुवाई स्वयं उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित कर रही हैं, जिनका उद्देश्य जिले की हर माँ तक पोषण एवं स्वास्थ्य की सटीक जानकारी पहुँचाना है।

कार्यक्रम का मुख्य उद्देश्य:
इस अभियान का मुख्य फोकस माताओं और गर्भवती महिलाओं को स्तनपान के महत्व, उससे जुड़ी भ्रांतियों और उसके दीर्घकालिक लाभों के बारे में जागरूक करना रहा। बाल विकास परियोजना विभाग एवं आंगनवाड़ी सेविकाओं की समर्पित भागीदारी से यह कार्यक्रम सफलता पूर्वक संपन्न हुआ, जिसमें लगभग 14,000 महिलाएं शामिल हुईं।

स्तनपान के वैज्ञानिक पहलुओं पर बल:
सेविकाओं और स्वास्थ्य विशेषज्ञों ने बताया कि जन्म के पहले घंटे में दिया गया कोलोस्ट्रम (माँ का पहला दूध) शिशु के लिए अमूल्य होता है, जो उसकी प्रतिरक्षा प्रणाली को मज़बूत करता है और उसे संक्रमण से बचाता है। शिशु के जीवन के पहले छह महीने तक केवल माँ का दूध ही सर्वोत्तम आहार होता है, जिससे कुपोषण, डायरिया और निमोनिया जैसी बीमारियों से बचाव होता है। साथ ही, इससे मानसिक और शारीरिक विकास भी बेहतर होता है।

माताओं के लिए भी लाभकारी:
कार्यक्रम में यह स्पष्ट रूप से बताया गया कि स्तनपान न केवल शिशु के लिए फायदेमंद है, बल्कि माँ के लिए भी यह अनेक लाभ लेकर आता है। इससे प्रसव के बाद रक्तस्राव की मात्रा कम होती है, वजन नियंत्रण में रहता है और स्तन कैंसर जैसी गंभीर बीमारियों की संभावना भी कम होती है।

भ्रांतियों को किया गया दूर:
कार्यक्रमों के दौरान स्तनपान से जुड़ी आम गलतफहमियों पर भी चर्चा की गई। जैसे—कमज़ोरी महसूस होने, शरीर का आकार बिगड़ने या छोटे बच्चे के लिए पर्याप्त दूध न बनने जैसी भ्रांतियों को वैज्ञानिक तथ्यों के माध्यम से दूर किया गया।

उपायुक्त की पहल और दृष्टिकोण:
उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित ने इस कार्यक्रम की व्यक्तिगत रूप से मॉनिटरिंग करते हुए यह स्पष्ट किया कि गुमला जिला को कुपोषण मुक्त और स्वास्थ्य समृद्ध समाज की दिशा में अग्रसर करना उनकी प्राथमिकता है। उन्होंने यह भी कहा, “ग्रामों से लेकर शहरों तक की हर माँ को यह जानकारी होनी चाहिए कि उनके स्तनपान से ही एक स्वस्थ पीढ़ी का निर्माण संभव है।”

गुमला जिले में आयोजित यह एकरूप और समन्वित अभियान स्वास्थ्य और पोषण के क्षेत्र में एक आदर्श मॉडल बन सकता है। जब स्थानीय प्रशासन इस तरह के मुद्दों को प्राथमिकता देता है, तो समाज में वास्तविक बदलाव की नींव पड़ती है। मातृत्व और नवजात शिशु स्वास्थ्य से जुड़ी इस पहल की जितनी सराहना की जाए, कम है।
