गुमला पुलिस की बड़ी कार्रवाई : 1,600 किलो गांजा बरामद, तस्कर गिरफ्तार

गुमला। गुमला पुलिस ने नशीले पदार्थों की तस्करी पर एक और बड़ी सफलता हासिल की है। पुलिस ने गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर छापेमारी कर 1,600 किलोग्राम गांजा बरामद किया और मुख्य आरोपी अरुण बैठा उर्फ चाई (54 वर्ष) को गिरफ्तार कर न्यायिक हिरासत में जेल भेज दिया।

गुप्त सूचना पर बनी छापामारी टीम

गुमला अनुमंडल पुलिस पदाधिकारी सुरेश प्रसाद यादव ने प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में बताया कि 30 अगस्त को पुलिस अधीक्षक हरिश बिन जामां को सूचना मिली थी कि गुमला थाना क्षेत्र के पंसो गांव में अवैध गांजा कारोबार चल रहा है।
सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस ने एक विशेष टीम का गठन किया, जिसमें थाना प्रभारी महेंद्र कुमार करमाली, पुलिस अवर निरीक्षक उदेश्वर पाल, सहायक अवर निरीक्षक नौशाद पवरिया और सशस्त्र बल शामिल थे।

छापेमारी में गांजा बरामद

पुलिस दल जब पंसो गांव पहुंचा तो एक संदिग्ध युवक मोटरसाइकिल (संख्या JH08C-5925) छोड़कर भाग निकला। इसके बाद पुलिस ने अरुण बैठा के अधनिर्मित घर की तलाशी ली।
तलाशी के दौरान सीढ़ी के नीचे छिपाए गए नीले और बैंगनी रंग के बैग से 1,600 किलो गांजा बरामद हुआ।

पूछताछ में आरोपी के बेटे अनुज बैठा ने खुलासा किया कि गांजे की खरीद-बिक्री का काम अरुण बैठा और उसका बेटा रूपेश बैठा (19 वर्ष) मिलकर करते थे।

कांड दर्ज, आरोपी जेल भेजा गया

बरामद गांजा और मोटरसाइकिल को जब्त कर गुमला थाना कांड संख्या-274/25 (धारा 20 (B)(II) B/29 NDPS एक्ट) के तहत मामला दर्ज किया गया।
अगले दिन यानी 31 अगस्त को पुलिस ने मुख्य आरोपी अरुण बैठा उर्फ चाई को गिरफ्तार कर अदालत में पेश किया, जहां से उसे गुमला जेल भेज दिया गया।
