स्वच्छता को जनआंदोलन का रूप देने के लिए गुमला जिले में “स्वच्छता ही सेवा” अभियान के तहत “मेरा शौचालय मेरा अभिमान” कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया। यह पहल उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित के निर्देश पर पेयजल एवं स्वच्छता विभाग द्वारा जिले के सभी ग्रामों में एक साथ चलाई गई।
ग्रामीणों और जलसहियाओं ने संभाली जिम्मेदारी
कार्यक्रम के दौरान जलसहियाओं और ग्रामीणों ने शौचालयों की साफ-सफाई के साथ-साथ उनके आसपास के परिसरों को भी स्वच्छ बनाया। प्रतिभागियों ने यह संकल्प लिया कि वे शौचालयों का नियमित उपयोग करेंगे और उनके रख-रखाव पर विशेष ध्यान देंगे।जागरूकता बढ़ाने की मुहिम
जिला प्रशासन ने स्पष्ट किया कि इस कार्यक्रम का मुख्य उद्देश्य ग्रामीणों को स्वच्छता के महत्व से अवगत कराना और शौचालयों को केवल निर्माण तक सीमित न रखकर उन्हें गौरव और अभिमान का प्रतीक बनाना है।2 अक्टूबर तक जारी रहेगा अभियान
ज्ञात हो कि 2 अक्टूबर तक जिले भर में स्वच्छता ही सेवा अभियान के तहत विभिन्न गतिविधियाँ आयोजित की जा रही हैं। इन प्रयासों का मकसद नागरिकों में स्वच्छ जीवनशैली अपनाने और खुले में शौच से मुक्त वातावरण बनाने की दिशा में सामूहिक भागीदारी सुनिश्चित करना है। न्यूज़ – गणपत लाल चौरसिया
