गुमला : – गुमला उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित एवं पुलिस अधीक्षक हरिश बिन जामां के निर्देशानुसार, जिला परिवहन पदाधिकारी ज्ञान शंकर जायसवाल एवं मोटरयान निरीक्षक रांबिन अजय सिंह के एंव प्रदीप कुमार तिर्की के नेतृत्व में 03 अक्टूबर 2025 को गुमला जिले में सड़क सुरक्षा को लेकर एक व्यापक जांच अभियान चलाया गया। यह अभियान लगभग चार घंटे तक सघन रूप से संचालित रहा।
अभियान का मुख्य फोकस दोपहिया वाहन चालकों के लिए हेलमेट तथा चारपहिया वाहन चालकों के लिए सीट बेल्ट की अनिवार्यता सुनिश्चित करना था। इसके अतिरिक्त ट्रिपल राइडिंग, तेज गति से वाहन चलाना, अमान्य कागजात (ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस, इंश्योरेंस, परमिट, रोड टैक्स एवं प्रदूषण प्रमाणपत्र), प्रेशर हॉर्न एवं मल्टी-टोन हॉर्न जैसे उल्लंघनों पर भी विशेष निगरानी रखी गई।
इस अभियान में 60 से अधिक नियम तोड़ने वालों पर कार्रवाई की गई तथा चालकों को सड़क सुरक्षा एवं यातायात नियमों के महत्व के प्रति जागरूक किया गया। जिला परिवहन पदाधिकारी ने स्वयं वाहन चालकों से संवाद कर लापरवाही से होने वाली सड़क दुर्घटनाओं के दुष्परिणामों से अवगत कराया और उन्हें भविष्य में नियमों का पालन करने की सख्त हिदायत दी।
जांच अभियान के दौरान विभिन्न उल्लंघनों के लिए कुल ₹1,11,000 (एक लाख ग्यारह हजार रुपए) का जुर्माना वसूला गया। अधिकारियों ने स्पष्ट रूप से चेतावनी दी है कि भविष्य में यातायात नियमों का उल्लंघन करने वालों के खिलाफ और भी कठोर कदम उठाए जाएंगे।
यह विशेष पहल जिले में सड़क दुर्घटनाओं पर अंकुश लगाने और सुरक्षित एवं अनुशासित परिवहन व्यवस्था स्थापित करने की दिशा में जिला प्रशासन का एक ठोस प्रयास है।
