गुमला : उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित और पुलिस कप्तान हरिश बिन जामां के निर्देश पर गुमला जिला प्रशासन ने 10 अक्टूबर 2025 को भरनो थाना क्षेत्र में सड़क सुरक्षा के लिए सघन जांच अभियान चलाया। जिला परिवहन पदाधिकारी (DTO) ज्ञान शंकर जायसवाल के नेतृत्व में हुए इस अभियान में यातायात नियम तोड़ने वाले 85 से अधिक वाहन चालकों पर कार्रवाई की गई और कुल ₹1,52,000 का जुर्माना वसूला गया।
हेलमेट और सीट बेल्ट पर जोर
भरनो थाना के सामने मुख्य मार्ग और प्रमुख चौराहों पर टीम ने वाहन जांच की। अभियान का मुख्य फोकस दोपहिया चालकों के लिए हेलमेट की अनिवार्यता और चारपहिया व मालवाहक वाहनों के चालकों के लिए सीट बेल्ट एवं वैध ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस पर रहा। इसका उद्देश्य बढ़ती सड़क दुर्घटनाओं को रोकना और यातायात अनुशासन सुनिश्चित करना था।
प्रमुख उल्लंघन
जांच के दौरान पाए गए प्रमुख यातायात नियम उल्लंघन इस प्रकार रहे:

बिना हेलमेट के वाहन संचालन, ट्रिपल राइडिंग, तेज गति और ड्रिंक एंड ड्राइव के मामले

आवश्यक दस्तावेज़ जैसे ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस, इंश्योरेंस, परमिट, पीयूसी और रोड टैक्स का अभाव

प्रेशर हॉर्न और मल्टी-टोन हॉर्न का उपयोग
-
मालवाहक वाहनों में ओवरलोडिंग — ट्रक, हाइवा, टेम्पो और पिकअप में निर्धारित क्षमता से अधिक सामान
जागरूकता और चेतावनी
अभियान के दौरान जुर्माना वसूलने के साथ ही चालकों को सड़क सुरक्षा के महत्व और यातायात नियमों के पालन पर जागरूक किया गया। DTO ने व्यक्तिगत रूप से समझाया कि लापरवाही से होने वाली दुर्घटनाएं कितनी गंभीर हो सकती हैं और भविष्य में नियमों का पालन करने की सलाह दी।
अधिकारियों ने चेतावनी दी कि भविष्य में यातायात नियम उल्लंघन पर और भी सख्त कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
सहभागिता
इस अभियान में DTO ज्ञान शंकर जायसवाल, भरनो थाना प्रभारी कंचन प्रजापति, DTO कार्यालय के कर्मी और भरनो थाना पुलिस बल शामिल रहे। इसे गुमला जिले में सुरक्षित एवं अनुशासित यातायात व्यवस्था स्थापित करने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम माना जा रहा है।
