गुमला : उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित के निर्देशानुसार बुधवार को जिला मुख्यालय के मुख्य मार्ग (मेन रोड) में अतिक्रमण हटाओ अभियान चलाया गया। अभियान का नेतृत्व अनुमंडल पदाधिकारी राजीव नीरज ने किया, जिसमें अनुमंडल पुलिस पदाधिकारी, अंचल अधिकारी, नगर परिषद प्रतिनिधि एवं थाना प्रभारी शामिल थे।
अभियान के दौरान टीम ने सड़क किनारे फैले अतिक्रमण की स्थिति का निरीक्षण किया और करीब दो दर्जन दुकानदारों को अपने परिसर से बाहर सामान रखने पर नोटिस जारी किया गया। वहीं ₹3,000 का ऑन-द-स्पॉट आर्थिक दंड वसूला गया।
अधिकारियों ने दुकानदारों को कड़ी चेतावनी दी कि वे शहर की साफ-सफाई और आवाजाही को सुचारू रखने में सहयोग करें तथा किसी भी प्रकार का अतिक्रमण न करें, अन्यथा कड़ी कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
