जिला ग्रामीण विकास शाखा, गुमला के निदेशक (लेखा प्रशासन एवं स्वनियोजन) विद्या भूषण कुमार ने शनिवार को पालकोट प्रखंड कार्यालय एवं बागवानी परियोजनाओं का निरीक्षण किया। इस दौरान उन्होंने कार्यालय संचालन की स्थिति, कर्मियों की उपस्थिति और अभिलेखों के संधारण का विस्तृत अवलोकन किया।
निरीक्षण के क्रम में प्रखंड विकास पदाधिकारी और अन्य अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिया गया कि कार्यालय का संचालन सुव्यवस्थित और पारदर्शी तरीके से किया जाए।
उपायुक्त गुमला के निर्देश पर, निरीक्षण के दौरान निदेशक ने जिला समाज कल्याण पदाधिकारी के सहयोग से एक दो वर्षीय बच्चे भरत किड़ो को चिकित्सकीय सहायता उपलब्ध कराई। बच्चे की माता का निधन हो चुका था और वह शारीरिक रूप से कमजोर पाया गया, जिसके बाद उसे एम.टी.सी. (सदर अस्पताल, गुमला) में भर्ती कराया गया।
वहीं, उपस्थिति पंजी की जांच में कुछ कर्मी अनाधिकृत रूप से अनुपस्थित पाए गए। निदेशक ने उनके वेतन भुगतान को अगले आदेश तक स्थगित रखने का निर्देश दिया। साथ ही, रोकड़-पुस्तक की जांच में विसंगतियाँ पाए जाने पर नाजीर को 15 दिनों के भीतर बैंक स्टेटमेंट के आधार पर समायोजन (Reconciliation) सुनिश्चित करने का आदेश दिया गया।
इसके अलावा, निदेशक विद्या भूषण कुमार ने नाथपुर पंचायत के डहुडांड़ ग्राम में आम की बागवानी परियोजना का भी निरीक्षण किया। उन्होंने लाभुकों को पौधों के बीच उगी घास की सफाई करने और मिश्रित खेती (Inter Cropping) के रूप में आलू की फसल लगाने का सुझाव दिया, ताकि बागवानी की गुणवत्ता बढ़े और किसानों की आय में वृद्धि हो सके।
