उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित के निर्देश पर एनसीओआरडी (NCORD) के तहत गुमला जिला प्रशासन ने शुक्रवार को रायडीह थाना क्षेत्र में पान मसाला, गुटखा और अन्य नशीले पदार्थों के खिलाफ व्यापक छापामारी अभियान चलाया।
इस कार्रवाई में अंचलाधिकारी रायडीह सहित प्रशासनिक टीम शामिल रही। टीम ने क्षेत्र की कई दुकानों की जांच की, जहां से प्रतिबंधित गुटखा और मसाला उत्पादों को जब्त कर नष्ट किया गया।
अभियान के दौरान अधिकारियों ने दुकानदारों को पान, गुटखा और अन्य नशीली वस्तुओं की बिक्री बंद करने की सख्त चेतावनी दी। साथ ही, यह भी स्पष्ट किया गया कि यदि भविष्य में ऐसे उत्पादों की बिक्री पाई जाती है तो कड़ी कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
प्रशासन ने बताया कि जिले में इस तरह की छापामारी आगे भी लगातार जारी रहेगी ताकि नशीले पदार्थों की अवैध बिक्री पर पूर्ण रोक लगाई जा सके।
