दरअसल मानव चरित्र ऐसा होता है कि वह झूठ से विचलित होता है, सच से उसे आत्मसंतुष्टि मिलती है. उसके अंदर यह चेतना जन्मजात होती है और फिर उसका धर्म इस चेतना को मज़बूत करता है।

राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ का अस्तित्व दरअसल झूठ के आधार पर ही रहा है, वह झूठ को सीधे-सीधे झूठ बताकर लोगों में नहीं परोसती थी, यकीं करें कि यदि वह ऐसा करती तो उसका अस्तित्व 1925 में ही खत्म हो जाता।

इसीलिए उसने उस झूठ को सच बताकर लोगों को परोसा और इसके लिए उसने पी एन ओक और उनके जैसे तमाम इतिहासकारों और बुद्धिजीवियों का सहारा लिया. और सबसे आसान उदाहरण दिए मुग़ल बादशाह और मुस्लिम शासकों का. क्योंकि कोई 500-1000 साल पहले जाकर तो सच पता करेगा नहीं, तो उसने झूठे इतिहासकारों को तथ्य बनाकर सच के रूप में लोगों को परोस दिया। उसके मुद्दे इसीलिए दीर्घकालिक इतिहास के होते हैं. नालंदा, खिलजी, बाबर, औरंगजेब इत्यादि इत्यादि।

मगर अब वह दौर नहीं है, आप एक झूठ परोसेंगे तो, होलोमार्क, इंटरनेट, गुगल, जेमनाई, चैटजीपीटी, ग्रोक, फेसबुक व्हाट्स एप AI जैसे सैकड़ों प्लेटफार्म से वह झूठ पकड़ा जाता है. इसीलिए राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ का आगे की राह आसान नहीं है. क्योंकि उसकी आत्मा ही झूठ और फरेब है।

अभी हाल फिलहाल में देखें तो नरेंद्र मोदी के ऐसे ही तमाम झूठ पकड़े गए हैं जो पहले नहीं पकड़े जाते थे. लोग यकीं कर लेते थे. जो अब इंटरनेट क्लाउड और AI के दौर में संभव नहीं.

एक उदाहरण बताता हूं…Fact Check करने का

उनकी पूर्व शुभचिंतक मधु किश्वर ने बयान दिया कि “नरेंद्र मोदी को गुजरात का मुख्यमंत्री अमेरिका खूफिया एजेंसी CIA ने बनवाया था”

मैं शाक्ड, तमाम फैक्ट चेकर्स टूल का सहारा लेकर मधु किश्वर के बयान को जांचा तो पाया कि 1993 में नरेंद्र मोदी अमेरिकी विदेश विभाग के शैक्षिक और सांस्कृतिक मामलों के ब्यूरो के सहयोग से चलने वाली एक संस्था ACYPL (American Council of Young Political Leaders) में ट्रेनिंग करने के लिए अमेरिका गये थे।

और इसके 8 साल बाद अचानक से एक गुमनाम व्यक्ति गुजरात का मुख्यमंत्री बन जाता है जो पहले कभी कोई चुनाव ही नहीं लड़ा, विधायक का छोड़िए सभासद भी नहीं बना।

अब इससे बहुत कुछ साबित भी हुआ और 40 साल भिक्षा मांग कर जीवन‌ जीने का दावा झूठा साबित हुआ. क्योंकि कोई व्यक्ति जन्म लेते ही भिक्षा तो मांगने नहीं लगेगा ? और नरेंद्र मोदी 17 वर्ष में विवाह के बाद घर से भागे. तो 1993 में उनकी उम्र 43 साल की थी जब वह अमेरिका ट्रेनिंग के लिए गये और 17 साल की उम्र से भिक्षा यदि 40 साल मांगी तो उम्र हुई 57 साल. फिर 12 साल पहले अमेरिका कैसे गये ? दरअसल अब फैक्ट चेक ऐसे होते हैं. सब सामने आ जाता है…

यही संघ के लिए काल है.

लोकतंत्र की छाती पर इससे बड़ा तमाचा क्या होगा कि जिस देश में सोशल मीडिया पर बोलने वाला कल का नौजवान अभिजीत दीपके खुले माइक पर तीखे और अनस्क्रिप्टेड सवालों को झेलने का माद्दा रखता है, जिस देश में नेता प्रतिपक्ष राहुल गांधी सैकड़ों बार बिना किसी तय स्क्रिप्ट के पत्रकारों के कड़वे से कड़वे हमलों का सीना तानकर सामना करते हैं, और जिस मुल्क में जिले का एक अदना-सा थानेदार या शिक्षा विभाग का बाबू भी अपनी जवाबदेही के लिए मीडिया के सामने पसीना बहाने को मजबूर होता है—उसी देश में खुद को ‘नॉन-बायोलॉजिकल’, 56 इंची और परमात्मा का भेजा हुआ महामानव बताने वाले हुज़ूर तीसरे कार्यकाल तक पहुँचकर भी एक अदद खुली प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस के नाम से कतराते हैं!

ज़रा इतिहास का वो आईना देखिए जिस पर धूल फांकने की कोशिश की जाती है। जिस डॉ. मनमोहन सिंह को पूरी ट्रोल आर्मी ने दिन-रात मौन मोहन कहकर जलील किया, वही शांत अर्थशास्त्री बिना किसी टेलीप्रॉम्प्टर की बैसाखी के देशी और विदेशी पत्रकारों के सबसे तीखे, चुभते और ज़हरीले सवालों के सामने घंटों बैठकर मुस्कुराते हुए जवाब देता था। पंडित नेहरू से लेकर अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी तक, हर प्रधानमंत्री ने लोकतंत्र की इस बुनियादी कसौटी को स्वीकारा और प्रेस के सवालों का सामना किया। लेकिन आज हमारे सामने एक ऐसा ‘विश्वगुरु’ बैठा है जिसके पास रैलियों में घंटे-घंटे दहाड़ने का दम तो है, मगर देश के चार आज़ाद पत्रकारों की आँखों में आँखें डालकर सच बोलने का कलेजा नहीं है!

यहाँ लोकतंत्र और संवाद की परिभाषा ही बदल दी गई है। संवाद अब दोतरफा जवाबदेही नहीं, बल्कि महीने के एक इतवार को रेडियो पर मन की बात का एकतरफ़ा भाषण थोप देना बन चुका है, जहाँ करोड़ जनता को सिर्फ़ सिर झुकाकर ताली और थाली पीटने वाली मूक भीड़ समझ लिया गया है। और जब कभी दुनिया को यह दिखाने की नौबत आती है कि हुज़ूर भी इंटरव्यू देते हैं, तो स्टूडियो के दरबारी पत्तलकार और फ़िल्मी अभिनेताओं को सोफे पर बिठाकर प्रायोजित तमाशा सजाया जाता है। सवाल भी ऐसे ऐतिहासिक पूछे जाते हैं कि पत्रकारिता का कलेजा फट जाए—हुज़ूर, आप आम चूसकर खाते हैं या काटकर? आप अपनी जेब में बटुआ रखते हैं या नहीं? और साहब, आप चौबीसों घंटे काम करके भी थकते क्यों नहीं हैं?

आखिर क्या राज़ है इस ऐतिहासिक ख़ौफ़ का ? डर सिर्फ इतना है कि जिस दिन सामने कोई दरबारी नहीं, बल्कि रीढ़ की हड्डी वाला एक बेबाक पत्रकार खड़ा हो गया और उसने अचानक मणिपुर की विभीषिका, चीन की सीमा, करोड़ों बेरोज़गार युवाओं की लाचारी या कॉर्पोरेट मित्रों की लूट पर बिना बताया कोई सवाल उछाल दिया—उस दिन सामने का टेलीप्रॉम्प्टर बुझ जाएगा, पर्चियां बिखर जाएंगी, और बारह सालों से करोड़ों के सरकारी विज्ञापनों पर खड़ा किया गया ‘छप्पन इंची’ पीआर का तिलिस्म एक ही झटके में भरभराकर गिर पड़ेगा!

हुक्मरान को याद रखना चाहिए कि लोकतंत्र किसी राजा का राजदरबार नहीं है जहाँ सिंहासन से सिर्फ़ फरमान जारी हों और अवाम सजदा करे। लोकतंत्र का पहला और अंतिम नियम हुकूमत से सवाल पूछना है। और जिस शासक का सारा ‘दैवीय प्रताप और अजेय आत्मविश्वास आज़ाद प्रेस के चार सीधे सवालों के आगे थरथराने लगे, वो खुद को भले ही विश्वगुरु या भगवान का अवतार बता ले, हकीकत में वो कैमरामैन, कट-पेस्ट इंटरव्यू और टेलीप्रॉम्प्टर के सहारे चलने वाला एक असुरक्षित नेता है
