गुमला ः गुमला जिला मुख्यालय सहित समस्त जिला के प्रखण्ड, पंचायत एंव ग्रामों के विभिन्न तालाब, नदी एवं जलाशयों में तथा जिला मुख्यालय स्थित सिसई रोड गुमला के छठ तालाब, गुमला परिषदन के समक्ष स्थित वंधछठ तालाब, डीएसपी रोड गुमला स्थित छठ तालाब, गुमला चेटर ग्राम स्थित छठ तालाब, गुमला जिला मुख्यालय से लगभग 15 किलोमीटर दूर स्थित नागफेनी ग्राम में जिला मुख्यालय की आधी आबादी के छठवती कोयल नदी तट पर और अन्य तालाब, नदी, जलाशयों में अलोक आस्था के महापर्व छठ के पावन तृतीय दिवस ‘संध्या अर्घ्य’ छठी मइया के साक्षी में भगवान भास्कर को छठवतियों ने मंत्रोंचार के बीच पूजा अर्चना करते हुए संध्या अर्ध्य दिया, और अपने घर,परिवार परिजनों के लिए भगवान भास्कर और
छठी मइया से सुख, शांति, समृद्धि और आरोग्य रहने की कामना की और कल प्रातः पुण: भगवान भास्कर सूर्य देव की दिव्य किरणें के बीच छठी मइया को साक्षी मांगते हुए उदयमान भगवान भास्कर को अर्ध्य दिया जायेगा, जिससे लोगों के जीवन में नई ऊर्जा,नई ऊष्मा, उजाला और आशा का संचार होगा, और
प्रकृति, श्रद्धा और विज्ञान का यह अद्भुत संगम लोगों के जीवन में नया उजाला लेकर आयेगीl
