कामडारा–हटिया–राउरकेला रेल मार्ग पर परिचालन ठप, मालगाड़ी के 10 डिब्बे पटरी से उतरे — पोकला स्टेशन पर सन्नाटा

गुमला: कामडारा–हटिया–राउरकेला रेलमार्ग पर आज ट्रेनों का परिचालन बाधित रहा। गुमला जिले के कामडारा प्रखंड अंतर्गत पोकला, पकरा और कुरकरा रेलवे स्टेशनों पर दिनभर सन्नाटा पसरा रहा। रेल सेवा रद्द होने से यात्री निराश होकर वापस लौट गए, जबकि कुछ यात्री बस या निजी वाहन से अपने गंतव्य स्थानों की ओर रवाना हुए।

सूत्रों के अनुसार, बुधवार सुबह करीब 10:00 बजे बानो थाना क्षेत्र के किनारोआ रेलवे स्टेशन के निकट पोल संख्या 524/34 और 524/35 के बीच राउरकेला से हटिया (रांची) जा रही आयरन रॉड लदी मालगाड़ी के 10 डिब्बे पटरी से उतर गए। हादसे में रेल पटरी क्षतिग्रस्त हो गई, जिसके कारण रेल यातायात पूर्णत: ठप हो गया।

पोकला स्टेशन मास्टर एम.एल. तिर्की ने बताया कि हादसे के तुरंत बाद हटिया–राउरकेला रेलखंड पर ट्रेनों की आवाजाही रोक दी गई है। घटना के बाद पुरी से हटिया आ रही तपस्विनी एक्सप्रेस को बरबेडा स्टेशन पर रोक दिया गया है। रेलवे विभाग द्वारा ट्रैक को क्लियर करने और मरम्मत कार्य शुरू कर दिया गया है।

रेलवे अधिकारियों ने बताया कि स्थिति सामान्य होने में कुछ समय लग सकता है और तब तक इस मार्ग पर ट्रेन परिचालन स्थगित रहेगा। यात्रियों से वैकल्पिक परिवहन साधनों का उपयोग करने की अपील की गई है।
