गुमला: जिला मुख्यालय में सड़क जाम की समस्या को देखते हुए बस स्टैंड बदलने के जिला प्रशासन के फैसले के खिलाफ गुमला बस ओनर्स एसोसिएशन ने 31 अक्टूबर 2025 को हड़ताल घोषित कर दी। हड़ताल के तहत लगभग 200 बसों का परिचालन पूरी तरह ठप कर दिया गया है।
जिला प्रशासन ने घाघरा और लोहरदगा रूट की सभी बसों को लोहरदगा रोड स्थित पुराने बस डिपो, दुंदुरिया से ही चलाने का आदेश जारी किया है। प्रशासन का कहना है कि शहर में बसों के मनमाने तौर पर रुकने और सड़क जाम की समस्या को देखते हुए यह कदम उठाना आवश्यक था।
हालाँकि बस मालिकों ने इस निर्णय को अव्यवहारिक बताते हुए इसका विरोध किया और बस हड़ताल का निर्णय लिया। उनका कहना है कि अचानक बस स्टैंड बदलने से यात्रियों और बस संचालकों दोनों को परेशानी होगी।
यात्रियों और व्यवसाय पर असर
हड़ताल के कारण:
- गुमला–रांची सहित कई रूटों पर बस सेवाएँ बाधित
- रोजाना यात्रा करने वाले यात्रियों को भारी परेशानी
- लाखों रुपये के व्यवसायिक नुकसान की आशंका
ललित उरांव बस स्टैंड से प्रतिदिन करीब 200 बसें संचालित होती हैं। हड़ताल के कारण पूरा संचलन ठप है और दूर-दराज़ क्षेत्रों के यात्रियों को सबसे अधिक दिक्कत हो रही है।
बस मालिकों ने संकेत दिया है कि जब तक प्रशासन अपना निर्णय वापस नहीं लेता, हड़ताल जारी रह सकती है। वहीं प्रशासन बस स्टैंड शिफ्ट करने के अपने निर्णय पर अडिग दिखाई दे रहा है।
