गुमला, नवंबर 2025:
गुमला जिले में यातायात व्यवस्था को और अधिक सुरक्षित एवं व्यवस्थित बनाने के उद्देश्य से नगर परिषद, गुमला ने 20 नए बैरिकेडिंग गुमला थाना को उपलब्ध कराए हैं। यह कदम उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित के निर्देशानुसार उठाया गया है, ताकि शहर में बढ़ते वाहनों के दबाव और ट्रैफिक जाम की समस्या को प्रभावी ढंग से नियंत्रित किया जा सके।
इन बैरिकेडिंग का उपयोग शहर के मुख्य चौराहों, विद्यालयों के आसपास तथा बाजार क्षेत्रों में किया जाएगा। इसके माध्यम से यातायात का संचालन बेहतर ढंग से किया जा सकेगा, जिससे न केवल सड़क सुरक्षा में सुधार होगा बल्कि जाम की समस्या में भी कमी आने की उम्मीद है।
नगर परिषद, गुमला द्वारा यह पहल शहरवासियों की सुरक्षा और सुविधा को ध्यान में रखते हुए की गई है। प्रशासन का कहना है कि इन बैरिकेडिंग के उपयोग से यातायात नियंत्रण में दक्षता बढ़ेगी और सड़क दुर्घटनाओं की संभावनाएँ घटेंगी।
नगर परिषद अध्यक्ष ने कहा कि यह प्रयास गुमला को एक सुरक्षित और सुचारू यातायात वाला शहर बनाने की दिशा में एक ठोस कदम है। उन्होंने आम नागरिकों से भी अपील की कि वे ट्रैफिक नियमों का पालन करें और प्रशासन के साथ सहयोग करें, ताकि शहर की सड़कों पर अनुशासन और व्यवस्था बनी रहे।
