राष्ट्रीय बालिका दिवस के अवसर पर सदर अस्पताल से जागरूकता रथ रवाना, बाल विवाह रोकथाम को लेकर किया गया जागरूक

गुमला : – गुमला जिला मुख्यालय में राष्ट्रीय बालिका दिवस के अवसर पर बालिकाओं के अधिकार, संरक्षण एवं सशक्तिकरण के उद्देश्य से जिला प्रशासन द्वारा विविध कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन किया गया। इसी क्रम में उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित के निर्देश पर आज सदर अस्पताल, गुमला परिसर से उप विकास आयुक्त गुमला द्वारा हरी झंडी दिखाकर जागरूकता रथ को रवाना किया गया।

यह जागरूकता रथ जिले के सभी प्रखंडों में भ्रमण करते हुए आमजन को बाल विवाह की रोकथाम, इससे जुड़े कानूनी प्रावधानों, दंडनीय अपराध की जानकारी तथा बालिकाओं की शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य एवं अधिकारों के प्रति जागरूक करेगा। जागरूकता रथ के माध्यम से बाल विवाह जैसी सामाजिक कुरीति के दुष्परिणामों के संबंध में जनसमुदाय को अवगत कराया जाएगा।
राष्ट्रीय बालिका दिवस के अवसर पर सदर अस्पताल में जन्म लेने वाली नवजात शिशु बालिकाओं को प्रोत्साहन स्वरूप बेबी किट एवं कम्बल का वितरण भी किया गया। इस पहल का उद्देश्य बालिका जन्म को प्रोत्साहित करना तथा समाज में सकारात्मक संदेश देना है।
इस अवसर पर उप विकासआयुक्त ने कहा कि बालिकाओं के समग्र विकास एवं सुरक्षित भविष्य हेतु समाज के प्रत्येक वर्ग को जागरूक होना आवश्यक है। बाल विवाह न केवल एक सामाजिक अपराध है, बल्कि यह कानूनन दंडनीय भी है, जिसे सामूहिक प्रयासों से समाप्त किया जा सकता है।
कार्यक्रम के दौरान सिविल सर्जन गुमला शंभू नाथ चौधरी , जिला समाज कल्याण पदाधिकारी एवं सदर अस्पताल के उपाधीक्षक सहित अन्य संबंधित पदाधिकारी एवं कर्मी उपस्थित थे।
