गुमला जिला के बसिया थाना क्षेत्र में शुक्रवार को एक दर्दनाक सड़क हादसा हो गया। गंगड़ा गांव के बड़ा टोली मोड़ के पास स्कूली बच्चों से भरा एक ऑटो अनियंत्रित होकर पलट गया। हादसे में 9 वर्षीय बच्ची की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई, जबकि 7 वर्षीय एक अन्य बच्ची गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गई।
मृत बच्ची की पहचान आकांक्षा कुमारी (लगभग 9 वर्ष) के रूप में हुई है। वह अपनी मां सुषमा देवी के साथ अपने मामा के घर गंगड़ा में रहती थी। घायल बच्ची का नाम अनु केरकेटा (7 वर्ष) है, जिसे प्राथमिक उपचार के बाद सदर अस्पताल रेफर कर दिया गया है।
परिजनों के अनुसार, आकांक्षा प्रतिदिन की तरह अपनी मां के साथ मदर अमृत पब्लिक स्कूल, महाराजगंज जाने के लिए ऑटो से निकली थी। बड़ा टोली मोड़ के पास पहुंचते ही ऑटो अचानक अनियंत्रित होकर पलट गया, जिससे आकांक्षा की घटनास्थल पर ही मौत हो गई।
घटना की सूचना मिलते ही बसिया थाना पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और दोनों बच्चियों को बसिया रेफरल अस्पताल पहुंचाया। वहां चिकित्सकों ने आकांक्षा को मृत घोषित कर दिया, जबकि अनु को प्राथमिक उपचार के बाद बेहतर इलाज के लिए रेफर किया गया। पुलिस ने शव को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिया है और दुर्घटनाग्रस्त ऑटो को जब्त कर लिया है।
हादसे के बाद ऑटो चालक मौके से फरार हो गया, जिसकी तलाश में पुलिस छापेमारी कर रही है। बताया जा रहा है कि ऑटो में 8 से 10 बच्चे सवार थे। अन्य बच्चों को मामूली चोटें आई हैं। घटना के बाद क्षेत्र में शोक की लहर है।
