नगर भवन, गुमला में एक दिवसीय जिला स्तरीय किसान सम्मेलन का आयोजन, 200 से अधिक किसानों ने किया सहभागिता

गुमला : – गुमला जिला प्रशासन, JSLPS, अज़ीम प्रेमजी फाउंडेशन एवं अन्य सीएसओ संस्थाओं (PRADAN, WOTR, PHIA एवं VIKASH BHARTI) के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में शनिवार को नगर भवन, गुमला में एक दिवसीय जिला स्तरीय किसान सम्मेलन का आयोजन किया गया। सम्मेलन में जिले के विभिन्न प्रखंडों से आए 200 से अधिक किसानों ने भाग लिया।

कार्यक्रम के दौरान किसानों ने अपने अनुभवों एवं नवाचारों को साझा किया। सम्मेलन में आम बागान, जीराफूल धान की खेती, वर्टिकल मचान, ड्रिप सिंचाई, जैविक खेती तथा एकीकृत खेती (इंटीग्रेटेड फार्मिंग) जैसी उन्नत कृषि तकनीकों पर 12 किसानों द्वारा अपने अनुभव प्रस्तुत किए गए।
सम्मेलन में अल्बर्ट एक्का (जारी), डुमरी, चैनपुर, रायडीह, बिशुनपुर, घाघरा, पालकोट, बसिया सहित अन्य प्रखंडों के किसानों के बीच आपसी सीख और सहयोग को बढ़ावा देने पर विशेष जोर दिया गया। साथ ही प्राकृतिक खेती को प्रोत्साहित करने, जीराफूल धान के बीज की गुणवत्ता में सुधार तथा किसानों को समय पर गुणवत्तापूर्ण बीज उपलब्ध कराने के लिए अनुसंधान संस्थानों से तकनीकी सहयोग की आवश्यकता पर भी चर्चा की गई।
इस अवसर पर जिला कृषि पदाधिकारी, जिला उद्यान पदाधिकारी, जिला मत्स्य पदाधिकारी, कृषि विज्ञान केंद्र (KVK) के वैज्ञानिक, डीपीएम–JSLPS, रीजनल कॉर्डिनेटर–BRLF सहित देसी धान विशेषज्ञ सौमिक बैनर्जी एवं भैरव सैनी उपस्थित रहे।
सम्मेलन के दौरान विभिन्न प्रखंडों के किसानों एवं संबंधित विभागों द्वारा कृषि उत्पादों के स्टॉल लगाकर उनका प्रदर्शन भी किया गया। साथ ही जिले से आए विभिन्न अधिकारियों द्वारा किसानों को कृषि से संबंधित संचालित योजनाओं की जानकारी देते हुए उनका उत्साहवर्धन किया गया ।
