गुमला : – गुमला जिला में विश्व यक्ष्मा दिवस 2026 के अवसर पर मंगलवार को गुमला जिले में व्यापक जनजागरूकता कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत प्रातः सदर अस्पताल परिसर, गुमला से जागरूकता रैली के साथ हुई, जिसमें नर्सिंग कॉलेज गुमला की छात्राओं, एएनएम प्रशिक्षुओं तथा यक्ष्मा उन्मूलन कार्यक्रम से जुड़े कर्मियों ने भाग लिया। रैली को नगर परिषद गुमला के उपाध्यक्ष रमेश कुमार चीनी एवं चिकित्सक डॉ. नागभूषण ने हरी झंडी दिखाकर रवाना किया।
रैली के उपरांत सदर अस्पताल, गुमला के सभागार में मुख्य कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया, जहां 100 दिवसीय टीबी उन्मूलन अभियान का शुभारंभ किया गया। कार्यक्रम में जिला परिषद उपाध्यक्ष संयुक्ता देवी, नगर परिषद उपाध्यक्ष रमेश कुमार चीनी, सिविल सर्जन डॉ. शंभू नाथ चौधरी, अपर मुख्य चिकित्सा पदाधिकारी डॉ. धनुर्जय सुम्बरई, लायंस क्लब एवं रेड क्रॉस सोसाइटी के प्रतिनिधियों सहित कई गणमान्य लोग उपस्थित थे।
अपने संबोधन में सिविल सर्जन डॉ. शंभू नाथ चौधरी ने कहा कि टीबी मुक्त समाज के निर्माण के लिए जनभागीदारी, समय पर जांच और नियमित उपचार अत्यंत आवश्यक है। उन्होंने बताया कि 100 दिवसीय अभियान के तहत घर-घर जाकर संभावित मरीजों एवं उच्च जोखिम समूहों की पहचान की जाएगी, ताकि समय पर जांच और उपचार सुनिश्चित किया जा सके।
कार्यक्रम में वर्ष 2025 के दौरान यक्ष्मा उन्मूलन के क्षेत्र में उत्कृष्ट योगदान देने वाले कर्मियों एवं सहयोगियों को प्रशस्ति पत्र एवं शॉल देकर सम्मानित किया गया। इस अवसर पर स्वास्थ्यकर्मियों, सहिया बहनों, छात्राओं एवं आम नागरिकों की उल्लेखनीय सहभागिता रही।
