गुमला : – उपायुक्त के निर्देश के आलोक में जिले में अवैध खनन, भंडारण एवं परिवहन के विरुद्ध लगातार सख्त कार्रवाई की जा रही है। इसी क्रम में दिनांक 17 अप्रैल 2026 को लगभग दोपहर 01:00 बजे बसिया अंचल अंतर्गत मौजा बोंगालोया टंगरा सहित आसपास के क्षेत्रों में जिला टास्क फोर्स (खनन) द्वारा औचक जांच एवं छापेमारी अभियान चलाया गया। यह कार्रवाई अनुमंडल पदाधिकारी, बसिया की अध्यक्षता में अंचल अधिकारी, बसिया, जिला खनन पदाधिकारी, गुमला तथा सशस्त्र बल की संयुक्त टीम द्वारा की गई।
जांच के क्रम में मौजा बोंगालोया में खाता संख्या-58, प्लॉट संख्या-299, रकबा लगभग 5.79 एकड़ (जीआर निर्देशांक: Lat 22.998072, Long 84.787242) गैरमजरूआ आम भूमि पर अवैध रूप से बालू का भंडारण पाया गया। स्थल पर लगभग 30,000 घनफीट बालू अवैध रूप से संग्रहित पाया गया, जिसे तत्काल जब्त कर लिया गया। जांच में यह भी स्पष्ट हुआ कि उक्त स्थल पर किसी प्रकार का वैध घाट बंदोबस्ती अथवा भंडारण अनुज्ञप्ति उपलब्ध नहीं है, जिससे यह गतिविधि पूर्णतः अवैध पाई गई।
स्थानीय लोगों से पूछताछ के दौरान यह जानकारी प्राप्त हुई कि इस अवैध उत्खनन एवं भंडारण कार्य में लगभग 10 व्यक्ति संलिप्त हैं। इस प्रकार की गतिविधियों से न केवल सरकारी राजस्व की हानि हो रही है, बल्कि राष्ट्रीय संपत्ति का भी क्षरण हो रहा है।
उल्लेखनीय है कि बिना वैध पट्टा अथवा अनुज्ञप्ति के खनिज का उत्खनन, भंडारण अथवा परिवहन करना खान एवं खनिज (विकास एवं विनियमन) अधिनियम, 1957 की धारा 4 एवं 21 तथा झारखंड लघु खनिज समनुदान नियमावली, 2004 के प्रावधानों का उल्लंघन है। इसके अतिरिक्त झारखंड मिनरल्स (अवैध खनन, परिवहन एवं भंडारण की रोकथाम) नियम, 2017 के तहत भी यह दंडनीय अपराध है।
तद्नुसार, इस अवैध बालू भंडारण में संलिप्त व्यक्तियों एवं संबंधित वाहन मालिकों के विरुद्ध प्राथमिकी दर्ज करते हुए सुसंगत धाराओं के अंतर्गत विधिसम्मत कार्रवाई की जा रही है। जिला प्रशासन द्वारा स्पष्ट किया गया है कि अवैध खनन गतिविधियों के विरुद्ध आगे भी सख्त कार्रवाई जारी रहेगी तथा दोषियों को किसी भी सूरत में बख्शा नहीं जाएगा।
