करंज थाना पुलिस ने कार्रवाई कर आरोपी को भेजा जेल
गुमला : – गुमला जिला अंतर्गत स्थित भरनो प्रखंड के करंज थाना क्षेत्र के दतिया गांव में शादी समारोह के दौरान हुई मारपीट और युवक की मौत मामले में पुलिस ने कार्रवाई करते हुए एक आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर गुमला जेल भेज दिया।
गिरफ्तार आरोपी की पहचान पालकोट थाना क्षेत्र के चैनपुर कोनसलता गांव निवासी अशोक कुमार सिंह (25 वर्ष) के रूप में हुई भरनो गुमला जिला है। पुलिस ने उसे करंज थाना कांड संख्या 03/26 दिनांक 5 मई 2026 के अप्राथमिकी अभियुक्त के रूप में गिरफ्तार किया है।
जानकारी के अनुसार 3 मई को दतिया गांव निवासी फुलेद्र सिंह की बेटी की शादी थी। इस समारोह में पालकोट प्रखंड के चैनपुर बुज्जीटोली गांव से बारात पहुंची थी। जयमाला कार्यक्रम के दौरान
दोनों पक्षों के युवकों के बीच कहासुनी हो गई, जो देखते ही देखते मारपीट में बदल गई।
बताया जाता है कि बाद में लड़की पक्ष के संतोष कुमार सिंह जब कुर्सी लाने गए थे, तभी कुछ बाराती युवकों ने उन्हें अकेला पाकर बेरहमी से मारपीट की। इस दौरान उनके सिर पर गंभीर चोट लगी, जिससे वह गंभीर रूप से घायल हो
गए। परिजनों ने उन्हें इलाज के लिए अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया, जहां से बेहतर इलाज के लिए रिम्स रांची रेफर किया गया। इलाज के दौरान उनकी मौत हो गई। घटना के बाद शादी का माहौल मातम में बदल गया और बारात बिना शादी संपन्न हुए वापस लौट गई। मामले में लड़की पक्ष ने अज्ञात लोगों के खिलाफ प्राथमिकी दर्ज कराई थी। जांच के दौरान अशोक कुमार सिंह की संलिप्तता सामने आने पर पुलिस ने उसे गिरफ्तार कर जेल भेज दिया। करंज थाना पुलिस ने बताया कि मामले में शामिल अन्य आरोपियों की पहचान और गिरफ्तारी के लिए लगातार छापेमारी की जा रही है।
