खेती के साथ कमाई के नए रास्ते, गुमला में एग्रो फॉरेस्ट्री और क्लाइमेट स्मार्ट विलेज का जायजा लेने पहुंचे DDC

गुमला: खेती को सिर्फ बारिश पर निर्भर रखने के बजाय सिंचाई, कृषि प्रसंस्करण और जलवायु अनुकूल तकनीकों से जोड़कर ग्रामीणों की आय बढ़ाने की कोशिश की जा रही है। इसी कड़ी में गुमला के उप विकास आयुक्त अनिमेष रंजन ने घाघरा प्रखंड के बुरजू और सेहल गांव का दौरा कर यहां चल रही कृषि आधारित गतिविधियों का जायजा लिया।

बुरजू को एग्रो फॉरेस्ट्री विलेज और सेहल को क्लाइमेट स्मार्ट विलेज के तौर पर विकसित किया जा रहा है। दौरे के दौरान DDC ने खेती, सिंचाई, कृषि उत्पादों के प्रसंस्करण और ग्रामीणों की भागीदारी से जुड़ी योजनाओं को देखा और अधिकारियों को जरूरी दिशा-निर्देश दिए।

गांव में ही तैयार होगा किसानों की मेहनत का बेहतर बाजार

बुरजू गांव में प्रदान संस्था और जिला प्रशासन के संयुक्त सहयोग से संचालित एग्रो प्रोसेसिंग यूनिट का भी निरीक्षण किया गया। यहां कृषि उत्पादों के प्रसंस्करण और उनमें मूल्य संवर्धन की प्रक्रिया की जानकारी ली गई।

DDC ने कहा कि अगर किसानों के उत्पादों का प्रसंस्करण गांव या स्थानीय स्तर पर ही होने लगे, तो उन्हें सिर्फ कच्चा माल बेचने की मजबूरी नहीं रहेगी। इससे उत्पाद की बेहतर कीमत मिलने की संभावना बढ़ेगी और गांव में ही रोजगार व स्वरोजगार के नए अवसर भी तैयार होंगे।

सिंचाई व्यवस्था देखी, जल संसाधनों के बेहतर इस्तेमाल पर जोर

दौरे के दौरान सिंचाई व्यवस्था का भी निरीक्षण किया गया। उपलब्ध जल संसाधनों का अधिकतम उपयोग कैसे हो और सिंचाई की सुविधाएं बेहतर तरीके से संचालित हों, इसको लेकर संबंधित अधिकारियों और संस्था के प्रतिनिधियों को निर्देश दिए गए।

DDC ने कहा कि मजबूत सिंचाई व्यवस्था से किसानों की बारिश पर निर्भरता कम हो सकती है। इससे खेती को ज्यादा स्थायी बनाने और पूरे साल कृषि गतिविधियों को आगे बढ़ाने में मदद मिलेगी।

सेहल में दिखी जलवायु के हिसाब से खेती की कोशिश

इसके बाद DDC ने क्लाइमेट स्मार्ट विलेज सेहल का दौरा किया। यहां स्थानीय परिस्थितियों को ध्यान में रखकर अपनाई जा रही जलवायु अनुकूल कृषि पद्धतियों की जानकारी ली गई। ग्रामीण इन गतिविधियों में किस तरह भाग ले रहे हैं, इस पर भी चर्चा की गई।

उन्होंने अधिकारियों से कहा कि गांव की स्थानीय जरूरतों और परिस्थितियों के अनुसार कृषि एवं आजीविका से जुड़ी गतिविधियों को आगे बढ़ाया जाए। साथ ही अलग-अलग योजनाओं और विभागों के बीच बेहतर तालमेल बनाकर ग्रामीणों को इनका ज्यादा से ज्यादा लाभ दिलाने पर जोर दिया।

खेती से जुड़े बदलावों का ग्रामीणों को मिले सीधा फायदा

गुमला जैसे ग्रामीण जिले में खेती और उससे जुड़ी आजीविका बड़ी आबादी के लिए आय का प्रमुख साधन है। ऐसे में एग्रो प्रोसेसिंग, बेहतर सिंचाई और जलवायु अनुकूल खेती जैसी पहल किसानों के लिए लंबे समय में महत्वपूर्ण साबित हो सकती हैं।

निरीक्षण के दौरान संबंधित विभागों के पदाधिकारी और कर्मी, प्रदान संस्था के प्रतिनिधि तथा स्थानीय ग्रामीण मौजूद रहे।
