गुमला: संतान की लंबी उम्र, अच्छे स्वास्थ्य और सुख-समृद्धि की कामना के साथ गुमला जिले में जितिया पर्व श्रद्धा और पारंपरिक उत्साह के साथ मनाया गया। जिला मुख्यालय से लेकर ग्रामीण इलाकों तक माताओं ने अपनी संतान के मंगल जीवन की कामना करते हुए व्रत रखा और विधि-विधान से पूजा-अर्चना की। पर्व के दौरान घरों और आसपास के इलाकों में धार्मिक माहौल के साथ लोक-संस्कृति की झलक भी देखने को मिली।

जितिया को जीवित्पुत्रिका व्रत भी कहा जाता है। इस पर्व में माताएं अपनी संतान के कल्याण और दीर्घायु की कामना के लिए कठिन व्रत रखती हैं। गुमला में भी महिलाओं ने पारिवारिक परंपराओं के अनुसार पूजा-पाठ किया और पर्व से जुड़ी मान्यताओं का पालन किया।

मां की आस्था के साथ पीढ़ियों से चली आ रही परंपरा

जितिया की खास बात सिर्फ व्रत नहीं, बल्कि इससे जुड़ी पारिवारिक परंपरा भी है। घर की बुजुर्ग महिलाएं नई पीढ़ी को पर्व की कथा, पूजा की विधि और इससे जुड़ी मान्यताओं के बारे में बताती हैं। इस तरह जितिया के बहाने धार्मिक आस्था के साथ परिवार की सांस्कृतिक विरासत भी एक पीढ़ी से दूसरी पीढ़ी तक पहुंचती है।

पर्व के दौरान महिलाओं की भागीदारी और पारंपरिक पूजा-पद्धति ने गुमला की लोक-संस्कृति की तस्वीर को भी सामने रखा।

जीमूतवाहन की कथा से जुड़ी है मान्यता

जितिया पर्व से राजा जीमूतवाहन की लोककथा भी जुड़ी है। धार्मिक मान्यता के अनुसार जीमूतवाहन त्याग और परोपकार के लिए जाने जाते थे। कथा के मुताबिक उन्होंने नागवंश के एक युवक की रक्षा के लिए स्वयं को गरुड़ के सामने समर्पित कर दिया था। उनके त्याग और करुणा से प्रभावित होकर गरुड़ ने हिंसा छोड़ने का संकल्प लिया।

इसी कथा को जितिया की धार्मिक परंपरा से जोड़ा जाता है। अलग-अलग क्षेत्रों में कथा के वर्णन में अंतर जरूर मिलता है, लेकिन इसके केंद्र में त्याग, करुणा और जीवन की रक्षा का संदेश माना जाता है।

जितिया में दिखी गुमला की सांस्कृतिक पहचान

गुमला जैसे जिले में ऐसे पर्व धार्मिक आयोजन के साथ-साथ स्थानीय संस्कृति को जीवंत रखने का माध्यम भी बनते हैं। पारंपरिक रीति-रिवाजों के साथ मनाया गया जितिया पर्व परिवार और समाज को जोड़ने का अवसर भी बना।

बदलते समय और आधुनिक जीवनशैली के बीच जितिया जैसे पर्व नई पीढ़ी को अपनी परंपराओं और लोककथाओं से जोड़ने का काम करते हैं। खासकर बुजुर्गों से बच्चों तक पहुंचती पर्व की कहानियां और रीति-रिवाज सांस्कृतिक विरासत को आगे बढ़ाते हैं।

आस्था के साथ संतान के मंगल की कामना

गुमला में जितिया पर्व के दौरान माताओं की आस्था का केंद्र उनकी संतान रही। किसी ने संतान की लंबी उम्र की कामना की तो किसी ने अच्छे स्वास्थ्य और सुखी भविष्य के लिए व्रत रखा।

इस तरह गुमला में संपन्न हुआ जितिया पर्व केवल धार्मिक अनुष्ठान नहीं रहा, बल्कि मां के प्रेम, त्याग और परिवार की पीढ़ियों से चली आ रही परंपरा का हिस्सा बनकर सामने आया।
