समय होता बलवान – दिल को छु जाने वाली हकीकत

रमेश चंद्र शर्मा, जो उत्तर प्रदेश के ‘गोरखपुर’ नामक शहर में एक मेडिकल स्टोर चलाते थे, उन्होंने अपने जीवन का एक पृष्ठ खोल कर सुनाया जो #पाठकों की आँखें भी खोल सकता है और शायद उस पाप से, जिस में वह भागीदार बना, उस से भी बचा सकता है।
रमेश चंद्र शर्मा का उत्तर प्रदेश के ‘गोरखपुर” नामक शहर में एक #मेडिकल स्टोर था जो कि अपने स्थान के कारण काफी पुराना और अच्छी स्थिति में था। लेकिन जैसे कि कहा जाता है कि धन एक व्यक्ति के दिमाग को भ्रष्ट कर देता है और यही बात रमेश चंद्र जी के साथ भी घटित हुई।
रमेश जी बताते हैं कि मेरा मेडिकल स्टोर बहुत अच्छी तरह से चलता था और मेरी आर्थिक स्थिति भी बहुत अच्छी थी। अपनी कमाई से मैंने जमीन और कुछ प्लॉट खरीदे और अपने मेडिकल स्टोर के साथ एक क्लीनिकल लेबोरेटरी भी खोल ली। लेकिन मैं यहां झूठ नहीं बोलूंगा। मैं एक बहुत ही लालची किस्म का आदमी था क्योंकि #मेडिकल_फील्ड में दोगुनी नहीं बल्कि कई गुना कमाई होती है।
शायद ज्यादातर लोग इस बारे में नहीं जानते होंगे कि मेडिकल प्रोफेशन में 10 रुपये में आने वाली दवा आराम से 70-80 रुपये में बिक जाती है। लेकिन अगर कोई मुझसे कभी दो रुपये भी कम करने को कहता तो मैं ग्राहक को मना कर देता। खैर, मैं हर किसी के बारे में बात नहीं कर रहा हूं, सिर्फ अपनी बात कर रहा हूं।
वर्ष 2008 में, गर्मी के दिनों में एक #बूढ़ा_व्यक्ति मेरे स्टोर में आया। उसने मुझे डॉक्टर की पर्ची दी। मैंने दवा पढ़ी और उसे निकाल लिया। उस दवा का बिल 560 रुपये बन गया। लेकिन बूढ़ा सोच रहा था। उसने अपनी सारी जेब खाली कर दी लेकिन उसके पास कुल 180 रुपये थे। मैं उस समय बहुत गुस्से में था क्योंकि मुझे काफी समय लगा कर उस बूढ़े व्यक्ति की दवा निकालनी पड़ी थी और ऊपर से उसके पास पर्याप्त पैसे भी नहीं थे।
बूढ़ा दवा लेने से मना भी नहीं कर पा रहा था। शायद उसे दवा की सख्त जरूरत थी। फिर उस बूढ़े व्यक्ति ने कहा, “मेरी मदद करो। मेरे पास कम पैसे हैं और मेरी पत्नी बीमार है। हमारे बच्चे भी हमें पूछते नहीं हैं। मैं अपनी पत्नी को इस तरह #वृद्धावस्था में मरते हुए नहीं देख सकता।”
लेकिन मैंने उस समय उस #बूढ़े_व्यक्ति की बात नहीं सुनी और उसे दवा वापस छोड़ने के लिए कहा। यहां पर मैं एक बात कहना चाहूंगा कि वास्तव में उस बूढ़े व्यक्ति की दवा की कुल राशि 120 रुपये ही बनती थी। अगर मैंने उससे 150 रुपये भी ले लिए होते तो भी मुझे 30 रुपये का मुनाफा ही होता। लेकिन मेरे लालच ने उस बूढ़े लाचार व्यक्ति को भी नहीं छोड़ा।
फिर मेरी दुकान पर खड़े एक दूसरे ग्राहक ने अपनी जेब से पैसे निकाले और उस बूढ़े आदमी के लिए दवा खरीदी। लेकिन इसका भी मुझ पर कोई असर नहीं हुआ। मैंने पैसे लिए और बूढ़े को दवाई दे दी।
समय बीतता गया और वर्ष 2009 आ गया। मेरे इकलौते बेटे को ब्रेन ट्यूमर हो गया। पहले तो हमें पता ही नहीं चला। लेकिन जब पता चला तो बेटा मृत्यु के कगार पर था। पैसा बहता रहा और लड़के की बीमारी खराब होती गई। प्लॉट बिक गए, जमीन बिक गई और आखिरकार मेडिकल स्टोर भी बिक गया लेकिन मेरे बेटे की तबीयत बिल्कुल नहीं सुधरी। उसका ऑपरेशन भी हुआ और जब सब पैसा खत्म हो गया तो आखिरकार डॉक्टरों ने मुझे अपने बेटे को घर ले जाने और उसकी सेवा करने के लिए कहा। उसके पश्चात 2012 में मेरे बेटे का निधन हो गया। मैं जीवन भर कमाने के बाद भी उसे बचा नहीं सका।
2015 में मुझे भी #लकवा मार गया और मुझे चोट भी लग गई। आज जब मेरी दवा आती है तो उन दवाओं पर खर्च किया गया पैसा मुझे काटता है क्योंकि मैं उन दवाओं की वास्तविक कीमत को जानता हूं।
एक दिन मैं कुछ दवाई लेने के लिए मेडिकल स्टोर पर गया और 100 रु का इंजेक्शन मुझे 700 रु में दिया गया। लेकिन उस समय मेरी जेब में 500 रुपये ही थे और इंजेक्शन के बिना ही मुझे मेडिकल स्टोर से वापस आना पड़ा। उस समय मुझे उस बूढ़े व्यक्ति की बहुत याद आई और मैं घर चला गया।
मैं लोगों से कहना चाहता हूं कि ठीक है कि हम सभी कमाने के लिए बैठे हैं क्योंकि हर किसी के पास एक पेट है। लेकिन #वैध_तरीके_से_कमाएं_ईमानदारी_से_कमाएं । गरीब लाचारों को लूट कर कमाई करना अच्छी बात नहीं है, क्योंकि नरक और स्वर्ग केवल इस धरती पर ही हैं, कहीं और नहीं। और आज मैं नरक भुगत रहा हूं।
पैसा हमेशा मदद नहीं करता। हमेशा ईश्वर के भय से चलो। उसका नियम अटल है क्योंकि कई बार एक छोटा सा लालच भी हमें बहुत बड़े दुख में धकेल सकता है..#बेईमानी का पैसा पेट की एक-एक आंत फाड़कर निकलता है.. !!
