गिरिडीह जिले में जन्म-मृत्यु के निबंधन के लिए शत-प्रतिशत लक्ष्य प्राप्त करने लक्ष्य : DC ने जागरूकता रथ को हरी झंडी दिखाकर रवाना किया

गिरिडीह : जन्म-मृत्यु के निबंधन के लिए शत-प्रतिशत लक्ष्य प्राप्त करने एवं निबंधन से संबंधित विषय का व्यापक प्रचार-प्रसार करने हेतु शुक्रवार को जागरूकता रथ को उपायुक्त नमन प्रियेश लकड़ा ने हरी झंडी दिखाकर रवाना किया. उपायुक्त ने कहा कि आज से 14 अगस्त तक जिले भर में जिला जन सम्पर्क कार्यालय की ओर से समाहरणालय परिसर से जागरूकता रथ चलेगा. इस जागरूकता रथ जिले के विभिन्न प्रखंडों एवं सुदूरवर्ती क्षेत्रों में जाकर लोगों को जन्म एवं मृत्यु के निबंधन हेतु जागरूक करने का कार्य करेगा।

सुदूर ग्रामीण इलाकों तक पहुंचेगा जागरूकता रथ

उल्लेखनीय है कि झारखण्ड राज्य में जन्म-मृत्यु निबंधन का स्तर वर्तमान में लगभग 80 प्रतिशत के आसपास है, जिसे संतोषजनक नहीं माना जा सकता। सरकार द्वारा निबंधन के लक्ष्य को शत-प्रतिशत प्राप्त करने का लक्ष्य निर्धारित किया गया है। इसके निमित्त महीने भर राज्य में जिला स्तर एवं प्रखण्ड स्तर पर कोविड-19 अवधि के दौरान छुटे हुए एवं अन्य वंचित लोगों के शत-प्रतिशत निबंधन हेतु विशेष अभियान चलाया जा रहा है। अभियान के दौरान जागरूकता हेतु एवं आमजनों में जन्म, मृत्यु की घटना के निबंधन के महत्व को समझाने हेतु व्यापक प्रचार-प्रसार का कार्यक्रम चलाया जा रहा है। इस दौरान मुख्य रूप से जिला सांख्यिकी पदाधिकारी, जिला पंचायत राज पदाधिकारी, जिला जन सम्पर्क पदाधिकारी, जिला समाज कल्याण पदाधिकारी उपस्थित थे.
