Beach Paradise: Goa

The ideal place to conduct introspection is the country of sun, sea, and coastlines. Admire the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Stay in beach camps with a lot of hippies. There are more than 50 beaches, so visit them all. Enjoy swimming and other sports like boat trips, jet skiing, snorkelling, and scuba diving.

• The best time to travel alone is between November and February, when most people are travelling for the New Year.

• Activities: Invest days, weeks, or months. You can never get enough of Goa’s natural splendour, straightforward way of life, or adventures. Hire a motorbike or scooter, then set out on an adventure. Lie on the beach, explore, or engage in adventure sports.

• Transportation: Dabolim Airport and Margao Railway Station are the closest stations, respectively. Taxis are available for transportation, or you can rent scooters to explore on your own.

God’s Own Country: Kerala

God’s own country has made Kerala famous. Located in Southern India’s Malabar Coast, this small paradise is surrounded by a vast network of backwaters, sparkling lakes, sparkling beaches, unknown national parks, and rolling hills that smell like tea and coffee plantations. For travellers, Kerala is nothing less than a paradise. This location’s breathtaking beauty is beyond words. You might reward yourself and indulge in an Ayurvedic retreat to rejuvenate. Some of the most luxurious resorts in the world with Ayurvedic treatments are in Kerala.

The best season to travel alone is between September and February. Activities include plantation tours of tea, coffee, and spices, houseboat and shikara cruises through the backwaters, retreats that focus on yoga and ayurveda, and safaris through Periyar and Eravikulam National Parks.

• Transportation: The international airports at Cochin, Trivandrum, and Kozhikode are well connected to the major cities in a number of nations, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Oman, New York, London, etc. There are excellent rail connections between Kerala and the other major cities in the nation, and there is a good road network connecting Kerala to the adjacent cities.

Hampi: Historic Ruins

You will be astounded by the fascinating remains of the Vijayanagar Empire. Investigate the remnants of old temples and other buildings. This city, which is known for its exquisitely carved temples, is situated on the banks of the Tungabhadra River. One of the most stunning locations in India that a person can visit alone is this. For mountaineers, Hampi is a paradise; they come here in particular to practise rock climbing in Badami.

The best period for a single trip is from October to February. Things to do include exploring the fascinating ruins of ancient buildings, taking a ferry, cycling through the city, and rock climbing.

• Transportation: Belgaum Airport, located 270 kilometres from Hampi, is the closest airport. The Kempe Gowda International Airport in Bengaluru, which is 300 miles away, is the closest international airport. A cab can be easily obtained from there. The major Karnataka cities including Hampi are well connected. There isn’t a railway station in Hampi; the one that is closest is 13 kilometres away in Hospet. It has good rail access to all of India’s main cities.
